Personal life

Himanshu, the elder son of producer and distributor Ashok Dhanuka. He completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology. Kurukshetra. He married Shristy Tibrewal in the month of October, 2013.

Career

Himanshu started his career at the young age of 23 as a producer along with his father, Ashok Dhanuka on films like Bhalobasha Bhalobasha(2008), Dujone (2009), Wanted (2010), Khiladi (2013) and many others. Bhalobasha Bhalobasha remained as the first Bengali film which was shot outside Asia and South East Asia, the film was one of the highest grossing Bengali films in 2008. Himanshu then produced films like Khokababu, Ami Sudhu Cheyechi Tomay Romeo vs Juliet, Khoka 420, Shotru, Badshah the Don, and Shikari. [10]

<i>Bhalobasha Aaj Kal</i> 2013 Bangladeshi film

Bhalobasha Aaj Kal is a Dhallywood romantic comedy film directed by P A Kajol and produced by Jaaz Multimedia. The film features Shakib Khan and Mahiya Mahi in lead roles. It is the first collaboration between Khan and Jaaz Multimedia and the first between Khan and Mahiya Mahi. Filming began on 2 February 2013, and was wrapped up by June 2013. The film was released on Eid-ul-Fitr on 9 August 2013. Upon release, the film received positive reviews and declared as a superhit at box office. Also, was highest-grossing film of Jaaz Multimedia production till Shikari released.

Shikari is a 2016 Bangladesh-India joint venture Action thriller film directed by Joydip Mukherjee and Zakir Hossain Simanto. Produced by Abdul Aziz and Himanshu Dhanuka under the Jaaz Multimedia and Eskay Movies banners and it stars Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan, Srabanti Chatterjee, Rahul Dev and Sabyasachi Chakrabarty in pivotal roles and centers around Khan, a disguised professional assassin with mysterious past, tasked with assassinating a top government official. The film also features Amit Hasan, Kharaj Mukherjee, and Shupriyo Dutta in supporting roles. The soundtrack album and background score of the film was composed by Indraadip Dasgupta.

Nabab is an Indo-Bangladesh 2017 film directed by Joydip Mukherjee and produced by Abdul Aziz and Himanshu Dhanuka under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia and Eskay Movies. The film features Bangladeshi star Shakib Khan as an intelligence agent from Bangladesh tasked with a secret operation in West Bengal, India and Subhashree Ganguly as a crime news reporter, Nabab's love interest. And features Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Amit Hasan, Aparajita Adhya, Kharaj Mukherjee and Arindam Saha in supporting roles. The soundtrack album and background score of the film was composed by Savvy Gupta and Akassh. The film was released on 26 June 2017 on the occasion of Eid in Bangladesh and released in India on 28 July 2017.

Shakib Khan is a Bangladeshi film actor, producer, occasional singer, film organiser and media personality who works in Bengali films, both in Bangladesh and West Bengal. He made his debut in Ananta Bhalobasha (1999), though it did not lead to widespread fame. He rise to fame after year 2005. After a few years, Khan established himself as one of the most successful actors in Bengali cinema. He is popularly known in the media as "Superstar", "Megastar", "King Khan","Number One" and "King of Dhallywood". Currently he is the highest paid actor in Bangladesh Film Industry.

Masum Babul is a Bangladeshi film dance director and choreographer. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Choreography twice for the film Dola (1993) and Ki Jadu Karila (2008). He also best known for the film Beder Meye Josna (1989), Koti Takar Kabin (2006) and Bikkhov (1994).
