Kamsaar Pathans, or the family of Kamsaar, is a large Pashtun family or community. The Kamsaar Pathans are the descendants of Raja Nahar Khan, born Raja Narhar Dev Rao, a great-grandson of Maharaja Kam Dev Misir, a Sikarwar Rajput King of the Pahargarh estate. Raja Narhar Dev Rao later adopted Islam after getting influenced by a Wali named Sayyaid Shah Junaid Qadri Rahmatullah Alae in 1542. Kamsaar Pathans ancestrally belong to the community of Zamindars and rural Muslims.
