Shenandoah is an American country music band founded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, in 1984 by Marty Raybon, Ralph Ezell, Stan Thorn, Jim Seales, and Mike McGuire. Thorn and Ezell left the band in the mid-1990s, with Rocky Thacker taking over on bass guitar; Keyboardist Stan Munsey joined the line up in 1995, until his departure in 2018. The band split up in 1997 after Raybon left. Seales and McGuire reformed the band in 2000 with lead singer Brent Lamb, who was in turn replaced by Curtis Wright and then by Jimmy Yeary. Ezell rejoined in the early 2000s, and after his 2007 death, he was replaced by Mike Folsom. Raybon returned to the band in 2014. That same year, Jamie Michael replaced the retiring Jim Seales on lead guitar.
"Butterfly" is a song by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue from her seventh studio album Light Years (2000). The song was written by Minogue and Steve Anderson at Real World Studios, Wiltshire in 1999. Minogue recorded her vocals at Cello Studios, Los Angeles in January 2001 with American DJ Mark Picchiotti, who subsequently produced the track in Chicago. "Butterfly" is a contemporary house, dance-pop, and EDM track that portrays spiritual freedom and joy of life. Although Light Year was not released in the US, "Butterfly" was issued as a promotional single through Blueplate Records and its sublabel Blue² Records, both of which are owned by Picchiotti.

"O-o-h Child" is a 1970 single, written by Stan Vincent, recorded by Chicago soul family group the Five Stairsteps and released on the Buddah label. The Five Stairsteps had previous peripheral success recording in Chicago with Curtis Mayfield; when Mayfield's workload precluded his continuing to work with the group they were reassigned to Stan Vincent, an in-house producer for Buddah Records, who had recently scored a Top Ten hit with the Lou Christie single "I'm Gonna Make You Mine". The Five Stairsteps' debut collaboration with Vincent was originally formatted with the group's rendition of "Dear Prudence" as the A-side with Vincent's original composition "O-o-h Child" as B-side. However, "O-o-h Child" broke out in the key markets of Philadelphia and Detroit to rise as high as #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the summer of 1970. The track's R&B chart impact was more muted with a #14 peak, although "O-o-h Child" is now regarded as a "soft soul" classic. Billboard ranked the record as the No. 21 song of 1970.
Lula Divinia is the second studio album by American post-hardcore band Shiner. It was released in March 1997 on Hit It! Recordings, in partnership with DeSoto Records. The album was recorded at the Chicago Recording Company in the summer of 1996 and mixed in Kansas City by the band and Ken Waagner.
"Accidently Kelly Street" is a song by Australian indie pop group Frente!. The single was released in October 1992 ahead of their debut studio album, Marvin the Album. The title includes an unintentional misspelling of "accidentally" that the band decided to keep. It peaked at No. 4 on both the Australian and New Zealand Singles Charts, and it was a minor hit in the United Kingdom in 1994, peaking at No. 80 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was used as the theme for the 2002 Taiwanese film Blue Gate Crossing, written and directed by Yee Chin-yen.
-ismist Recordings was a Lincoln, Nebraska-based independent record label founded in 1992 by Dan Schlissel. Over the 1990s, -ismist released nearly 80 albums and singles by bands including Killdozer, Season to Risk, and House of Large Sizes. It is most widely known for comedy albums by Lewis Black and Doug Stanhope, as well as Iowa metal band Slipknot's 1997 debut/demo, Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat. By the early 2000s, after Slipknot had moved on to major label Roadrunner Records and Schlissel had found greater success with comedians like Black and Stanhope than with indie rock, he changed his focus to comedy albums on a new, Minneapolis-based label, Stand Up! Records, which eventually replaced -ismist entirely.
Jason Gerken is an American musician, who has played in Molly McGuire, Shiner, Open Hand, Project 86, and most recently, HUM as well as The Birth Defects and Sie Lieben Maschinen. Gerken took over for Bryan St. Pere of HUM, when he decided to part ways with the band. According to Bruce Fitzhugh, Gerken met the band, Project 86, on a tour of theirs along with Living Sacrifice and Stavesacre.
Number One Hits is a compilation album by American country music duo The Judds. It was released on October 25, 1994 on the Curb and RCA Nashville labels. The album contained music produced by Brent Maher and Don Potter. Number One Hits was the eleventh compilation released in The Judds's discography. It contained 12 of their number one hits on the country charts during the 1980s. The album itself also reached major chart positions and sales certifications.
