Ho Hoo Tan is an album by the Hong Kong Cantopop group Twins. It was released in September 2006 by EEG.
Cantopop or HK-pop is a genre of popular music written in standard modern Chinese but sung in Cantonese. Cantopop is also used to refer to the cultural context of its production and consumption. The genre began in the 1970s and became associated with Hong Kong popular music from the middle of the decade. Cantopop then reached its height of popularity in the 1980s and 1990s before slowly declining in the 2000s and slight revival in the 2010s. The term "Cantopop" itself was coined in 1978 after "Cantorock", a term first used in 1974. Cantopop reached its highest glory with a fanbase and concert reaching Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan especially with the influx of songs from Hong Kong movies.
Twins are a Hong Kong Cantopop duo that was created in the summer of 2001 by Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG). Twins are made up of two girls, Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) and Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼). They are a popular group in Hong Kong and a top band in China. Their fanbase have included Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, United States, Vietnam and Philippines. Their music was generally targeted at young teens, but in 2004 they began to attract a wider audience by venturing into different styles of music. In February 2008 the duo temporarily separated after the Edison Chen photo scandal involving Gillian Chung. After two years the group finally reunited in 2010.

Common Chinese-language errors by non-native learners of Chinese, usually refers to a pattern of written or spoken Chinese language, characterised by the significant influence from European languages, with regards to grammar, vocabulary, syntax and word order. Influences from English are particularly noticeable, especially in translations of literary works and documents in English. Westernised Chinese lacks the characteristics of traditional Chinese writing, and sometimes poses reading or understanding difficulties to readers because of its awkwardness and/or wordiness. It is probable that most Westernized Chinese translations are a very direct translation from English into Chinese by native Chinese speakers, given the virtually non-existent demand for native English speakers to perform written translation into Chinese. In the first half of the 20th century, Lu Xun advocated that translations of Western works into Chinese closely follow the Western structure, but Lu Xun's arguments failed to be persuasive, and translators subsequently used a more natural translation style from English to Chinese.
