Homecoming: The Bluegrass Album is the eleventh studio album and first bluegrass album by American country music singer Joe Diffie, released on October 25, 2010, through Rounder Records. It was Diffie's final solo album released during his lifetime.

Joe Logan Diffie was an American country music singer and songwriter. After working as a demo singer in the mid 1980s, he signed with Epic Records' Nashville division in 1990. Between then and 2004, Diffie charted 35 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, five of which peaked at number one: his debut release "Home", "If the Devil Danced ", "Third Rock from the Sun", "Pickup Man" and "Bigger Than the Beatles". In addition to these singles, he had 12 others reach the top 10 and ten more reach the top 40 on the same chart. He also co-wrote singles for Holly Dunn, Tim McGraw, and Jo Dee Messina, and recorded with Mary Chapin Carpenter, George Jones, and Marty Stuart.
"Pickup Man" is a song written by Kerry Kurt Phillips and Howard Perdew, and recorded by American country music artist Joe Diffie. It was released in October 1994 as the second single from the album Third Rock from the Sun. The song was his longest-lasting Number One hit, having spent four weeks at Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts between December 1994 and January 1995.
God's Country: George Jones and Friends is a tribute album to American country music artist George Jones. Released on October 17, 2006 on the Category 5 Records label. It features several of Jones' most well-known songs, such as "White Lightnin'," and "He Stopped Loving Her Today". Various artists contributed cover versions to the album, including Vince Gill, Tanya Tucker and Sammy Kershaw. Jones also appears on this album singing the title track "God's Country", his first brand new song in five years. The album includes a behind-the-scenes DVD of its making. Of the album's ten tracks, Diffie co-wrote four of them, including its most successful single: "Is It Cold in Here". The album itself has been certified gold by the RIAA. The track "Goodnight Sweetheart" was recorded by David Kersh on his 1996 debut album.

Diffie's breakthrough album, the first five tracks were all released as singles, and all charted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. Of these five singles, "Pickup Man" and the title track were both Number One hits, "So Help Me Girl" reached #2, "I'm in Love with a Capital 'U'" reached #21, and "That Road Not Taken" peaked at #40. "Pickup Man" was also Diffie's longest-lasting number one, having held that position for four weeks.

Life's So Funny is the sixth studio album by American country music artist Joe Diffie. It was released on December 5, 1995, through Epic Records. Following this single were "C-O-U-N-T-R-Y" and "Whole Lotta Gone"; both peaked at #23. The track "Tears in the Rain" was originally recorded by Tim McGraw on his 1993 self-titled debut album.
Twice Upon a Time is the seventh studio album by American country music artist Joe Diffie. It was released on April 22, 1997, through Epic Records. Singles released from the album include "This Is Your Brain", "Somethin' Like This", and "The Promised Land", which respectively reached #25, #40, and #61 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. "The Promised Land" was also the second single of Diffie's career to miss Top 40 entirely, and this was also the first album of his career not to produce a Top 10 hit. Furthermore, the album did not earn an RIAA certification. Also included is "I Got a Feelin'", which was originally recorded by Tracy Lawrence on his 1994 album I See It Now.

A Night to Remember is the eighth studio album by American country music artist Joe Diffie. It was released on June 1, 1999, through Epic Records. It is his last album released by Epic. The album contains the singles "A Night to Remember", "The Quittin' Kind", and "It's Always Somethin'", which respectively reached #6, #21, and #5 on the Billboard country charts. The title track was also Diffie's highest entry on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching #38 there. The song "I'm the Only Thing " was originally recorded by Conway Twitty on his Final Touches album. The project tells the life story of Mark Twain in spoken word and song and features many well-known artists. "Run Mississippi" by Rhonda Vincent reached #2 on the Bluegrass Today charts the same week that "Comet Ride" by Ricky Skaggs reached #7. The album was released on September 21, 2011 and is the most downloaded Americana album of all time on AirPlay Direct, an online music source for radio stations, with more than 7,000 downloads its first year.
