Stairway to Heaven is a 2003 South Korean television series starring Choi Ji-woo, Kwon Sang-woo, Kim Tae-hee and Shin Hyun-joon. It aired on SBS from 3 December 2003 to 5 February 2004 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 20 episodes. The title of the show comes from the Led Zeppelin song of the same name, which is frequently used in the underscore.

Parliamentary elections were held in North Korea on 26 July 1998. 687 deputies were elected to the tenth Supreme People's Assembly. There was only one nominated candidate per constituency - 687 candidates for 687 seats. According to the state news agency KCNA, the turnout rate was 99.85%, and 100% of participating voters cast their ballots in favour of the registered candidates. About two thirds of the deputies were new, and deputies with a military background reportedly doubled in number. Kim Jong-il was unanimously elected in constituency n°666. According to a Rodong Sinmun editorial, this proved "how deep the Korean people's trust in Kim Jong Il is and how powerful and solid the monolithic unity of the people around him in one thought and purpose and with moral obligation is."
Jung Yong-hwa, also known mononymously as Yonghwa, is a South Korean singer, musician and actor. He is the leader, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band CNBLUE. Jung made his television debut in You're Beautiful (2009), and has since starred in television dramas Heartstrings (2011), Marry Him If You Dare (2013), The Three Musketeers (2014), The Package (2017) and Sell Your Haunted House (2021). On the music front, Jung also made his solo debut with the album One Fine Day in 2015.
Rooftop Prince is a 2012 South Korean fantasy romantic comedy television drama, starring Park Yoo-chun, Han Ji-min, Jeong Yu-mi, Lee Tae-sung, Lee Tae-ri, Jung Suk-won, and Choi Woo-shik. It is about a Joseon crown prince who, after his wife dies mysteriously, time travels to the future where he encounters familiar faces, modern-day devices, and corporate intrigue. The series aired on SBS from March 21 to May 24, 2012 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 20 episodes. It is available on Netflix.

New Tales of Gisaeng is a 2011 South Korean television series starring Im Soo-hyang, Sung Hoon, and Han Hye-rin. Written by Im Sung-han and directed by Son Moon-kwon, it aired on SBS from January 23 to July 17, 2011, on Saturdays and Sundays at 21:45 for 52 episodes. It is based on Lee Hyun-su's novel of the same name.

Orange Marmalade is a 2015 South Korean television series based on the webtoon of the same name which was serialized on Naver WEBTOON from 2011 to 2013. Starring Yeo Jin-goo, Kim Seolhyun, Lee Jong-hyun and Gil Eun-hye, it aired on KBS2 from May 15 to July 24, 2015 on Fridays at 22:35 for 12 episodes.
Chung Sanghwa is a South Korean minimalist and Dansaekhwa artist. After receiving his BFA from the College of Fine Arts in Seoul National University in 1956, Chung developed his unique grid-like painting style in Japan and France in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Coming from a generation of post-war South Korean artists, Chung's reductive process of painting consists of repetitive application and removal of the paint on canvas.
Don't Dare to Dream, also known as Jealousy Incarnate, is a 2016 South Korean television series starring Gong Hyo-jin, Jo Jung-suk, Go Kyung-pyo, Lee Mi-sook, Park Ji-young, Lee Sung-jae, and Seo Ji-hye. It aired every Wednesday and Thursday at 22:00 (KST) on SBS from August 24 to November 10, 2016, for 24 episodes.

Man in the Kitchen is a 2017 South Korean television series starring Choi Soo-young, On Joo-wan, Seo Hyo-rim, and Park Jin-woo. The series aired on MBC every Saturday and Sunday from 8:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (KST). It was then later changed to air 2 episodes every Sunday from 8:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (KST) from November 12 onwards.

With only one candidate on the ballot in each constituency, outside observers described it as a show election. 687 candidates for the DPRK deputies to the SPA were elected. Kim Jong Un did not stand for election, marking the first time that a North Korean leader did not participate as a candidate.
