Howrah railway division is one of the four railway divisions under the Eastern Railway zone and the South Eastern Railway zone of Indian Railways. This railway division was formed on 1854 and its headquarters is located at Howrah in West Bengal, India. [1] It covers the area more than 400 km which includes parts of Bihar and Jharkhand also. [2]

Not only in Kolkata to Delhi route, it is also the fastest train in Howrah Railways Station.It connects the Howrah Railways Station in Kolkata to the New Delhi Railway Station in Delhi. Howrah Rajdhani Express is the Fastest Train From Howrah to New delhi and From New Delhi to Howrah covering the entire distance of 1450 km in just 17 hours.

Palakkad railway division is one of the six administrative divisions of the Southern Railway zone of Indian Railways. It is headquartered at city of Palakkad, Kerala. It is the smallest railway division in Southern Railway. It was formed by dissolving the Podanur division. Managing 588 route kilometers of track in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Mahé, it is one of the oldest railway divisions in India and had a route connectivity of nearly 1,247 km before the formation of current Thiruvananthapuram and Salem divisions. The terminal facility of Palakkad division is situated in Shoranur Junction & Mangalore Central of Karnataka state.

Rajchandrapur railway station is a station of Eastern Railway. It is 17 km away from Sealdah and 5 km from Dankuni Junction on the Sealdah–Dankuni line of Eastern Railway. It is a part of the Kolkata Suburban Railway system. Dankuni and Bardhaman local train connects this place to Sealdah Station and other stations of the Sealdah main line. It is an important railway station between Dum Dum and Dankuni railway stations.
