New Kids on the Block is an American boy band from Dorchester, Massachusetts, United States. The band consists of brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood. New Kids on the Block enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and have sold more than 80 million records worldwide. They won two American Music Awards in 1990 for Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo, or Group and Favorite Pop/Rock Album. The group disbanded in 1994, and publicly reunited in 2008.

"I'll Be Home" is a song by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor from the extended play I'll Be Home for Christmas (2014), released by Epic Records. The song also later appeared on the Japanese and special editions of her debut major-label studio album Title (2015). Written and produced by Trainor, "I'll Be Home" is a Christmas ballad with lyrics about promising to be home for Christmas. Music critics praised the song as a positive change of sound from her other work. Commercially, it initially peaked at number 56 in Switzerland, 72 in Netherlands, and at number 35 in Sweden in 2015, being certified Gold in the latter. It was not until December 2018 and early 2019, that "I'll Be Home" appeared on various other single charts, including number 53 in Austria, number 31 in Norway and number 45 in Germany.
A Very Trainor Christmas is the fourth studio album and first Christmas album by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor, released on October 30, 2020, by Epic Records and her own label Honest OG Recordings. The album contains cover versions of Christmas standards, such as "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" (1951) and "Last Christmas" (1984), as well as six original recordings. Trainor worked with producers including her brother Justin Trainor and Asa Welch, and co-wrote songs with the former and her other brother Ryan, among others, to create the album. Artists who are featured on A Very Trainor Christmas include Earth, Wind & Fire, Seth MacFarlane, Trainor's cousins Jayden, Jenna & Marcus Toney, and father Gary Trainor. A Target edition of the album includes a cover version of "A Holly Jolly Christmas" (1964) and the original song "I'll Be Home", which first appeared on the Epic EP I'll Be Home for Christmas (2014).
