IIC University of Technology (IIC) came into existence in 2008 through the evolution of the International Institute of Cambodia, founded in 1999. IIC University is accredited by the Royal Government of Cambodia as specified in Sub-Decree No. 127ANK.BK. [1] It is a member of the International Association of Universities. [2] .

As a result of the MBA program, consultants with a hands-on approach are produced.

The university offers conventional and industrial PhD programs. Industrial PhD is a qualification to train professionals to solve industry-oriented problems. [6] Conventional PhD focuses on 80% academic needs and 20% industrial needs whereas Industrial PhD is 20% academic needs and 80% industrial needs.

The Doctor of Engineering, or Engineering Doctorate, is a degree awarded on the basis of advanced study and research in engineering and applied science for solving problems in industry. A DEng/EngD is equivalent to a PhD in engineering, but different in that it has a solid industrial base and an additional taught element. The degree is usually aimed toward working professionals.

Bahçeşehir University (BAU) is a private educational institution in Turkey, located around the Bosporus in Istanbul. The Turkish National Assembly authorized the establishment of the University of Bahçeşehir by the Bahçeşehir Uğur Education Foundation in 1998. An academic and strategic protocol was signed shortly after with San Diego State University in California, USA. The enrollment of the first students was made after the first placement exam (ÖSYS) in the 1999–2000 academic year. The university is one of the few universities in Turkey which has its lectures in English and therefore students applying to BAU are required to have high English proficiency.

The Islamic University of Gaza, also known as IUG andIU Gaza, is an independent Palestinian university established in 1978 in Gaza City. It was the first higher education institution to be established in Gaza Strip. The university has eleven faculties capable of awarding BA, BSc, MA, MSc, MD, PhD, diplomas and higher diplomas, in addition to twenty research centers and institutes and the affiliated Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital.

The International University of Sarajevo (IUS) is a private university located in the capital city Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The university was established by the Foundation for the Development of Education in 2004–2005. IUS is open to students from all over the world, and the language of instruction and communication is English. It offers four year education according to Bologna system. IUS has 1650 students from 55 countries and faculty members from 20 countries performing academic and research activities in various disciplines of Science, Engineering, Arts and Social Sciences. The first generation of 32 IUS graduates received their diplomas on June 26, 2009. IUS offers many types of scholarships, especially for students from Bosnia and Herzegovina. IUS has both modern and large campus for the region.

The Mongolian University of Science and Technology was founded in 1959 as a part of the National University of Mongolia and started training the Industrial Economists and Construction Engineers. As a result of the formation of engineering and technical teaching staff, in 1969 the National University of Mongolia was affiliated the Polytechnic Institute with five schools such as: Civil Engineering, Power Engineering, Geology and Mining, Mechanical Engineering, and Engineering Economics had established with 13 departments. In 1982, by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the People's Republic of Mongolia, the Polytechnic Institute was separated from the National University of Mongolia and reorganized into an independent university.
