Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) is a trade association representing the interests of major and independent record labels of South Africa. Located in Randburg, RiSA is responsible for running the annual South African Music Awards (SAMAs) and for music recording certification in South Africa. It also runs The Official South African Charts (TOSAC).

The Official South African Charts (TOSAC) is the music industry standard record chart in South Africa launched by RISA for local and international songs. Chart rankings are based on digital sales and online streaming in South Africa through iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer. The charts were launched in South Africa on 1 September 2021, becoming the only South African chart to focus on songs on digital music streaming services. The first official number-one hit on the chart was Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits".

It peaked at the number one spot on Billboard South Africa Songs, The Official South African Charts, and hit one million streams two weeks after its release.
Austin Kulani Baloyi, professionally known under the alias of Tyler ICU, is a South African DJ and record producer born and raised in Kempton park, Gauteng. He rose to prominence subsequent to the release of "Mnike" which was certified platinum in South Africa, and peaked at number one for sixteen consecutive weeks on The Official South African Charts and Billboard South Africa songs.
"Phuze" is a single by South African DJ and record producer known under the alias of Dlala Thukzin, it was released on 26 March 2021 through Ingrooves on behalf of Dlala Records and it features vocals from Zaba. In mid-2023 it was certified Gold by the Recording Industry of South Africa.
Thuthuka Wandile Zindlovu, prominently known as Dlala Thukzin is a South African DJ and record producer born and bred in Lamontville, KwaZulu-Natal. He is famous for his versatility of blending amapiano and afro tech with gqom.

Afro tech, is a sub-genre of house music and afro house which originates and is predominantly made in South Africa. It emerged in the 2010s. South African DJs and music producers who popularized the genre include Black Coffee, Culoe De Song, Bekzin Terris, Euphonik, Punk Mbedzi, DJ Tira, Zakes Bantwini, Shimza and Da Capo.
"Imithandazo" is an amapiano song by Kabza de Small and Mthunzi from their collaborative studio album Isimo (2023). It was released on 27 October 2023 by Piano Hub under exclusive license from Sony Music Entertainment Africa, it features guest appearances from DJ Maphorisa, Sizwe Alakine, Young Stunna, and Umthakathi Kush with production handled by Kabza de Small and DJ Maphorisa, collectively known as Scorpion Kings.
Zandile Nxumalo professionally known as Zee Nxumalo is a Swati-born South African singer and songwriter. Born Eswatini and raised in Alexandra, Johannesburg her single "Funk 55", released in 2023 calputed her to mainstream success and certified 5× Platinum in South Africa.
