"I Wanna Dance with Somebody " is a song recorded by American singer Whitney Houston for her second studio album, Whitney (1987). It was released as the lead single from the album on May 2, 1987, by Arista Records. It was produced by Narada Michael Walden, and written by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam, of the band Boy Meets Girl, who had previously collaborated with Houston on "How Will I Know."

Kent Lövgren, better known as Melodie MC, is a Swedish recording artist, performing as a rapper on Eurodance tracks, who was active in music between 1992 and 1998.
"Living on My Own" is a song by British singer Freddie Mercury, originally included on his first solo album, Mr. Bad Guy (1985). It was released as a single in September 1985 in the United Kingdom, where it peaked at number 50. The July 1985 release in the United States had "She Blows Hot and Cold" as its B-side. Eight years later, in 1993, "Living on My Own" was remixed and re-released to widespread chart success. The song's lyrics reflect Mercury's longstanding admiration for Greta Garbo, whose quotations are featured prominently in the lyrics.

"I Wanna Be the Only One" is a song by British R&B girl group Eternal and American R&B/gospel singer BeBe Winans, released in May 1997 as the third single from the group's third album, Before the Rain (1997). Topping the UK Singles Chart, the release also became the group's third collaboration with Winans, who produced 1994's "Crazy" and 1995's "It Will Never End". The single is the group's 11th non-consecutive top-10 entry on the UK Singles Chart.
"I Don't Wanna Fight" is a song recorded by American singer Tina Turner. It was written by Scottish singer Lulu, her brother Billy Lawrie and Steve DuBerry, and produced by Chris Lord-Alge and Roger Davies. The song was first offered to English singer Sade Adu, who sent it on to Turner. Turner recorded the song as part of the soundtrack for the biographical film based on her life, What's Love Got to Do with It (1993). Lulu's version appears as a B-side to her 1993 single "How 'Bout Us" as well as on her compilation album, The Greatest Hits (2003).
"I Wanna Be a Hippy" is a song by English electronic group Technohead. The vocals were taken from David Peel's song "I Like Marijuana", which he sung in the movie Rude Awakening. It first appeared as the B-side to the group's Mary Jane EP, issued by Dutch hardcore techno label Mokum Records. John Peel featured the track "Mary Jane" on his show on 10 February 1995, which helped give the release recognition.
"Open Sesame" is a song by Swedish Eurodance artist Leila K, released in October 1992 as the lead single from her second album, Carousel (1993). Co-written and co-produced by Denniz PoP, it was a huge success in many European countries in 1993. It reached number-one in Belgium and peaked within the top 10 in at least nine other countries. In 1999, the song was released in a new remix as "Open Sesame '99". Dutch singer Daisy Dee released a cover in 2000, which reached number 78 in Germany.
"Impossible" is a song by German musician Captain Hollywood Project. It was released in October 1993 as the fourth single from his debut album, Love Is Not Sex (1993), and features vocals by singer Kim Sanders. It was a sizeable hit in several countries, but like "All I Want", it achieved moderate success in comparison with the two previous Captain Hollywood Project's singles, "More and More" and "Only with You". A music video was also produced, but it did not feature Sanders.
"One Love" is a song recorded by the Sweden based musician and producer Dr Alban. It was the second single from his second studio album, One Love (1992). Alban co-wrote it with Denniz PoP, who also produced it. Released in August 1992, the song was a hit in many European countries. It made it to the top-10 in Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Ireland and Norway; however, the song was not as successful as "It's My Life", the previous single. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "One Love" peaked at number 23. Outside Europe, it was successful in Israel, reaching number five.
"(I Wanna Give You) Devotion" is a song by English electronic group Nomad, released in 1991 as the second single from their only album, Changing Cabins (1991). It was a number-one hit in Greece and a top 5 hit in the UK, where it reached number two. In the US, it peaked at number-one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in June 1991 and stayed there for one week. MTV Dance ranked the song number 32 in their list of "The 100 Biggest 90s Dance Anthems of All Time" in November 2011.
"Dub-I-Dub" is a song by Danish Eurodance act and sisters Me & My, released in September 1995 as the first single from their eponymous album. It was very successful on the charts in many countries, peaking at number-one in Denmark and Japan, and being a Top 10 hit in Belgium, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Russia, Spain and Sweden.
"Love Sees No Colour" is a song recorded by German act U96. It was released in May 1993 as the first single off its second album, Replugged (1993), on which it appears as second track. It added sung male vocals, which was also going to be one of the distinctive marks of the project. The words contained in the title are the only lyrics of the song. It achieved success in many countries, including Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland where it reached the top 10. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "Love Sees No Colour" peaked at number 10. German band Bass Bumpers participated in several remixes of the song.
"Dum Da Dum" is a 1993 Eurodance/hip hop song by Swedish recording artist Melodie MC, released as his third single from his debut album, Northland Wonderland (1993). It contains a sample from the 1990 song "Feel That Beat" by 2 Static and features vocals by Mayomi. In Europe, it was very successful on the charts, peaking at number two in Greece, number three in Spain, number four in the Netherlands and number seven in Sweden. Additionally, it reached number 16 in Denmark and number 18 in Belgium. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it was a top 20 hit, reaching number 13. Outside Europe, the single enjoyed success in Australia, where it hit number five and was certified gold. And in Israel, it peaked at number 13. A music video was produced to promote the single. In 2009, a new version was released as "Dum Da Dum '09".

It features vocals by Turkish-Swiss singer Emel Aykanat and peaked at number-one in Finland, number two in Switzerland, number five in Germany and number seven in Austria and Sweden. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it reached number ten in October 1993. Outside Europe, the song peaked at number 54 in Australia and number four in Israel. It sold to Gold in Germany.

Additionally, it was a top 10 hit in Austria and Switzerland, and a top 20 hit in Denmark and Germany. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it reached number 29 in May 1994. Outside Europe, the single was a huge hit in Israel, peaking at number four. The accompanying music video was directed by Swedish director Fredrik Boklund, known for his videos for Army of Lovers. It was A-listed on Germany's VIVA in April 1994.
