Ian Jardine (born 20 October 1964, in Dunfermline) [1] is a former Scottish international rugby union player, normally playing at the Centre position.
His career spanned the amateur era and the professional era. He played for Stirling County. [2]
Late in his career he played for Cumnock RFC. [3]
Jardine represented Glasgow District [4] at various levels before finally representing the professional Glasgow side, now Glasgow Warriors. [5] [6] [7] He made his debut for the Warriors away to Newport RFC in the European Challenge Cup on 26 October 1996, becoming Glasgow Warrior No. 27.
He received 3 caps for Scotland 'B', the first on 9 December 1989 against Ireland 'B'. [8]
He had his first international cap 20 November 1993 against New Zealand. He participated in the Five Nations tournaments of 1994-1996 and played for Scotland in the World Cup in 1995 (three games played, beaten in the quarterfinals). [9] [10]
He became coach of Stirling County RFC.
Kenneth McKerrow Logan is a retired Scottish rugby union player who played wing for Stirling County RFC and Glasgow District at amateur level; Glasgow Warriors, Wasps RFC professional level; and Scotland at international level. He won three English Premierships Heineken Cup with Wasps RFC; and one Scottish Premiership title with Stirling County RFC in 1995, just before the game turned professional.
David Ivor Walter Hilton is a former professional rugby union player who played as a prop. Although he was born in England, he qualified to play for the Scotland national team by virtue of a grandfather who he believed was born in Scotland; however, it later emerged that his grandfather's birth was registered in England. Despite this, Hilton completed a residency period to restore his Scottish eligibility, and he went on to win a total of 42 caps in a seven-year international career. At club level, he played for Bath, Glasgow and Bristol.
Peter Edward Murchie is a Scottish professional rugby union coach for Glasgow Warriors and a former Scotland international player. He previously was an assistant coach for Stade Niçois; and head coach for Ayr and then the Ayrshire Bulls. He formerly played for Glasgow Warriors in the Guinness Pro12, making over 100 appearances for the club. His playing position was full-back.
