Ian Wiley (born 5 May 1968 in Chapelizod) [1] is an Irish slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1986 to 2000. He was a European junior champion in 1984, and a silver medalist at the world Junior Championships in 1986 at Spittal, Austria.[ citation needed ]

He became the European Champion in K1 at the 1996 European Canoe Slalom Championships in Augsburg. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he earned his best finish of fifth in the K1 event at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. [2]
