Baye Ibrahima Niasse (born 18 April 1988) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Greek Gamma Ethniki club Kozani.
Niasse was born in Dakar, Senegal.
He played 64 league games for Neuchâtel Xamax in Switzerland. [1]
On 5 June 2013, Niasse signed a one-year contract with Gabala, moving from fellow Azerbaijan Premier League Inter Baku. [2] Niasse made his debut for Gabala in their 2–1 away victory over FK Baku on 2 August 2013. [3] His first goal for the club was the third goal in a 3–2 victory over Inter Baku in his second game for the club. [4]
After leaving Gabala at the end of his one-year contract, Niasse went on trial with Mordovia Saransk, managed by his former Gabala manager Yuri Semin, [5] signing a two-year contract on 26 June 2014. [6] After just one season with Mordovia Saransk, Niasse left the club by mutual consent in June 2015. [7]
After six months without a club, Niasse signed a six-month contract with Concordia Chiajna in January 2016. [8]
After being released by Concordia China, Niasse signed with Indian Super League side Delhi Dynamos on 10 September 2016. [9]
On 26 January 2017, Niasse signed a season and half contract with Levadiakos. [10]
On 31 October 2019, Niasse returned to Gabala, signing a contract until the end of the 2019–20 season. [11]
On 28 January 2020, Niasse returns to Greek Super League with Lamia. [12]
His brother Oumar Niasse is also a professional footballer. [13]

The 2013–14 season was Gabala's ninth season as a club and their eighth season in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top flight of Azerbaijani football. They finished the season in their highest ever position, third, and earned qualification to the UEFA Europa League for the first time in the club's history. They also participated in the Azerbaijan Cup, reaching the final for the first time, where they lost to Neftchi Baku on penalties. It was their first, and only, season with manager Yuri Semin, who mutually terminated his contract at the end of the season. Danijel Subotić was the team's top goalscorer for the season with 13, 12 of which came in the Premier League.
The 2014–15 season was Gabala's tenth season overall and ninth competing in the Azerbaijan Premier League.
The 2014–15 FC Mordovia Saransk season was Mordovia Saransk's 1st season back in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia, following their promotion in 2014, and their 2nd season in total. Mordovia Saransk will also be taking part in the Russian Cup.

The 2017–18 season was Gabala FK's 13th season, and their 12th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. Gabala finished the season in second place, 16 points behind champions Qarabağ. In the Azerbaijan Cup were runners-up for the second year in a row, losing to Keşla 1-0 in the final whilst they also reached the Third qualifying round of the Europa League before being knocked out by Panathinaikos.
The 2019–20 season was Gabala FK's 15th season, and their 14th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. Gabala will also take part in the Azerbaijan Cup and the Europa League. Gabala finished the season in 8th position due to the premature end of the season and were spared relegation, whilst they were due to play Zira in the Semifinal of the Azerbaijan Cup before its cancellation. In the Europa League Gabala were knocked out by Dinamo Tbilisi in the Second Qualifying Round.
