If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack is the first EP by American post-hardcore band Sleeping with Sirens. The album was released on June 26, 2012, through Rise Records and debuted at no. 17 on the Billboard Top 200 charts, selling 17,486 in the first week. The EP features acoustic versions of "If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn" and "With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear," both from the album With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear (2010), along with three new songs. A music video for "Roger Rabbit" was released on October 10, 2012, via mtvU.

Underminded is an American hardcore punk band from San Diego, California. The band has been on hiatus since 2007 as its members concentrate on other projects. Frontman Nick Martin was in Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, and has been in Sleeping With Sirens since originally filling in for them in 2013. Drummer Tanner Wayne has been the drummer for In Flames since 2018.

He is known for his distinctive vocals and for collaborating with other artists, as well as the SEGA Sound Team on the game Sonic Frontiers (2022). Some of his best known collaborations are on the tracks "King for a Day" with Pierce the Veil, and "Love Race" with Machine Gun Kelly.

It is their first album record to feature guitarist Nick Martin of D.R.U.G.S. and Underminded who replace former guitarist Jesse Lawson. Madness was preceded by lead single "Kick Me" as well as a string of digital singles. The album continues the band's progression to a more pop rock–style sound, but retains some post-hardcore influences on tracks.

Story Untold is a Canadian rock band based in Laval, Quebec. Founded in 2012, the band signed with Hopeless Records in May 2016. Shortly after signing, they recorded their self-titled EP, then went on tour with Simple Plan and Hit the Lights. It is also their final album to feature longtime guitarist Jack Fowler, who departed the band before the album's release. The album also features guest appearances from Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath, Charlotte Sands, Royal & the Serpent, and Dorothy.
