Wayne Hughes is a New Zealand former Pentecostal minister. Until early 2005,he was the senior pastor of the Takapuna Assembly of God in Auckland. A photographer by training,Hughes became pastor of the Takapuna Assembly of God in 1975. Under his leadership spanning three decades,it grew from 25 members to about 1600 adherents as of 2005. About a third of these are formal members.

In 2007,he was appointed a Member of the Order of New Zealand,New Zealand's highest civilian honour,limited to 20 living people. Geering turned 100 in February 2018.
Va'aiga Lealuga Tuigamala Pulelua Fesola'i,sometimes known as Inga Tuigamala,was a professional rugby union and rugby league footballer. Born in Samoa,he represented New Zealand in rugby union,winning 19 caps,and later Samoa in both rugby league and rugby union. He played in one rugby league and two rugby union World Cups.
Sir Gordon Frederick Tietjens is head coach of the Samoa rugby sevens team,and a celebrated former coach of the New Zealand men's national team in rugby sevens,the All Blacks Sevens. When the International Rugby Board inducted him into the IRB Hall of Fame in May 2012,it said that "Tietjens' roll of honour is without peer in Sevens,and perhaps in the Game of Rugby as a whole." According to Spiro Zavos,Tietjens is "The greatest of all the Sevens coaches".

Whakahuihui "Hui" Vercoe was an Anglican bishop in New Zealand. He was the Archbishop of New Zealand from 2004 to 2006,the first person from the Māori church to hold that office. He was also Bishop of Aotearoa from 1981,the first person to be elected to that position by the congregation rather than being appointed by the church hierarchy. He held both offices until his retirement in 2006. He was also the first person to become a Principal Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit after the rank was introduced in 2000.
Youth of the Nation was an annual Christian Youth Conference held for 15 years in Wanganui,New Zealand. Unlike many other Christian conferences,YOTN was not held by one specific church or denomination. Youth of the Nation conferences and events were hosted by The Youth Of The Nation Trust in collaboration with other churches from around New Zealand. For the first 8 years the conferences were hosted by the Wanganui Christian Youth Workers collective,a group of Christian youth pastors &workers from different denominations &churches across the city of Wanganui. This collective included representatives from Anglican,Apostolic,Assemblies of God,Baptist,Open Brethren,Catholic,Incedo,Presbyterian,Christian Outreach Centre—now known as International Network of Churches—,Elim,Salvation Army,&non-denominational. From 2012 until 2018,the YOTN Trust partnered with churches,not only in Wanganui,but from across New Zealand to host events in different cities.

Hoyle served as that church's national youth director from 2011 –2016,after serving as youth pastor of Faith City Church in Whanganui,New Zealand,under Iliafi Esera,from 2004 –2015. Since 2003,BenHoyle has been the director of the New Zealand Youth of the Nation Conference.
Helen Margaret Aitken Reid,also known by her married surname Reid-Martin,was a New Zealand religious leader. She was the first woman in New Zealand to be ordained as a Presbyterian minister,and the second woman to serve as moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa New Zealand.
