Ilias Georgiou is a Greek Cypriot male artistic gymnast, representing his nation in international competitions.

Career

As a junior he competed for Cyprus in the 2016 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships in the all-around final. At the 2018 Commonwealth Games he again competed in the team final for Cyprus and qualified for the event finals in all-around, parallel bars, and horizontal bar. The same year he competed at the 2018 Mediterranean Games, placing 5th in the horizontal bar and 7th in the all-around and parallel bars. [1]

His first international medals came in the 2019 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup series, in which he won the silver in horizontal bar at Cottbus, bronze in horizontal bar at Osijek, and bronze in parallel bars at Koper. At the 2021 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup series in Cairo, he took silvers for parallel bars and horizontal bar. [2] At the 2021 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships he qualified for the finals in the all-around and horizontal bar, placing 7th in each qualifier, but he withdrew from the all-around competition after the first rotation. He competed at the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Olympics as well as many World Championships for team Japan from 1996 until 2006. In 2009, he moved to Australia, gaining citizenship in 2012, and currently represents Australia's national gymnastics team, most recently competing at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Robert Tvorogal is a Lithuanian artistic gymnast. He is the 2019 European Games champion on the horizontal bar. He became the first Lithuanian to win a gold medal at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships when he won the horizontal bar title at the 2020 European Championships. He is also the 2022 European horizontal bar silver medalist and the 2020 European parallel bars bronze medalist. He represented Lithuania at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics.

He is the 2018 Mediterranean Games all-around and horizontal bar champion and the 2022 Mediterranean Games horizontal bar champion. He competed at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games.
