Ime is a village in Mandal municipality in Vest-Agder county, Norway. The village is located on the east side of the river Mandalselva, along the European route E39 highway. Ime is an eastern suburb of the town of Mandal. Ime might be considered to be a "commuter town" with its residents living here, but working in Mandal. There is a school in Ime.

The church is part of the Mandal parish in the Mandal deanery in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, wooden church was built in 1613. It seats about 135 people. The church site has been in use since the Viking Age and it is the only church in Agder that was mentioned in the medieval Heimskringla. The church has a 4-metre (13 ft) wide circle of six large stones sitting just next to the church.
