Imran Khan (born 10 May 1992) is a Sri Lankan cricketer who has played domestically for the Saracens Sports Club and the Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club,as well as in the Sri Lanka Premier League for the Ruhuna Royals.
Born in Colombo, [1] Imran attended Royal College,Colombo,and played for the school's cricket team in the annual Royal–Thomian match in both 2010 and 2011. [2] A right-arm fast bowler,he made his first-class debut during the 2011–12 season,appearing for Saracens in a single match against Sri Lanka Army SC. [3] He opened the bowling with Amila Mendis on debut,taking two wickets as Saracens lost by an innings and 90 runs. [4] Imran was subsequently selected in a single Premier League match for the Ruhuna Royals in August 2012,replacing Tharanga Lakshitha in the side. [5] [6]
For the 2012–13 season,Imran switched to Bloomfield,making his list-A debut in the Premier Limited Overs Tournament in December 2012. [7] He went on to play three list-A matches and seven first-class matches during the season. [3] In his seven Premier Trophy matches,he took 21 wickets,finishing behind Suraj Randiv (50),Upul Indrasiri (29),and Chatura Randunu (25) for Bloomfield. [8] His best bowling figures,5/67,came against the Panadura Sports Club in the opening match of the tournament. [9] Imran again played regularly for Bloomfield during the 2013–14 season,in both formats of the game,but is yet to record any further five-wicket hauls. His appearances during the 2014–15 were less sporadic –only three first-class games and a single twenty20. [3] [7]
The Major League Tournament is the main domestic first-class cricket competition in Sri Lanka. It was established in 1938 and has existed under a number of different names. Matches before the 1988–89 season are not considered first-class. Relaunched as the Lakspray Trophy in 1988–89,it was renamed as the P. Saravanamuttu Trophy in 1990–91 and as the Premier Championship in 1998–99. There was a change of format in 2015–16 when it became the Premier League Tournament which was split into Tiers A and B the following year.

Ruchira played for Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club,Chilaw Marians Cricket Club,Saracens Sports Club,Nondescripts Cricket Club,Old Cambrian Sports Club. Palliyaguruge bowled right-arm medium pace and batted right-handed. Playing mostly club cricket,he has over 200 first-class wickets to his name and also over 4000 runs in a career that began in 1989/90.

After emigrating to Italy,he made his debut for the Italian national side in April 2013,at the 2013 World Cricket League Division Three tournament.
Geeth Alwis is a former Sri Lankan cricketer. He was born in Colombo. He has played for the Saracens Sports Club,the Ruhuna cricket team,the Sinhalese Sports Club and the Chilaw Marians Cricket Club teams in the domestic game and internationally he did not play. He was an all-rounder in 60 matches from the 2007–08 season to 2013–14. He scored 4,244 runs,completing 6 centuries and his highest score of 219. He took 147 wickets and his best bowling was 6–36. He bowled slow left-arm orthodox spin and was a left-handed batsman.

Burgher Recreation Club replaced Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club,who were relegated from the previous years' tournament,after finishing bottom of the Plate League. Sinhalese Sports Club won the competition.
Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club Ground,in Colombo,Sri Lanka,has staged first-class and List A cricket matches since 1991. It is the home ground of the Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club cricket team.
Duvindu Tillakaratne is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is the son of Sri Lankan Test cricketer Hashan Tillakaratne,and the twin brother of Ravindu Tillakaratne.
Adeesha Nanayakkara is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Bloomfield Cricket and Athletic Club in the 2013–14 Premier Trophy on 17 January 2014. Adeesha was educated at Nalanda College,Colombo.

It was the seventeenth edition of the Premier Limited Overs Tournament,and the first since the 2015–16 edition,after the 2016–17 tournament was cancelled following a legal challenge and replaced by the 2016–17 Districts One Day Tournament. The tournament started on 9 March 2018 and finished on 25 March 2018. Rain affected the first few days of fixtures,with several games ending as a no result.

Sinhalese Sports Club won the last edition of the Premier Limited Overs Tournament.
