In Search of Sunrise 9: India is a compilation album by Dutch trance producer Richard Durand. [1] It was released on 6 June 2011 by SongBird. It is the ninth installment in the In Search of Sunrise compilation series. On 31 May 2011 Richard Durand released a 35-second teaser preview of the compilation on MySpace. [2]

Durand Line Afghanistan–Pakistan border

The Durand Line is the international 2,670 km (1,660 mi) land border between Afghanistan and Pakistan in South-Central Asia. The story revolves around a young Coordinator Kira Yamato who becomes involved in the war between the two races after a third, neutral faction's space colony is invaded by the Coordinators.

Tiësto Dutch DJ

Tijs Michiel VerwestOON, known professionally as Tiësto, is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Breda, North Brabant. He was named "the Greatest DJ of All Time" by Mix magazine in a poll voted by the fans. In 2013, he was voted by DJ Mag readers as the "best DJ of the last 20 years". He is also regarded as the "Godfather of EDM" by many sources.

Black Hole Recordings

Black Hole Recordings is a Dutch record label founded by Tijs Verwest (Tiësto) and Arny Bink in 1997. The label is currently distributed by Entertainment One Distribution, formerly known as E1 Entertainment Distribution. In August 2009, Tiësto decided to part ways with Black Hole Recordings, setting up the label Musical Freedom in association with PIAS Entertainment Group.

In Search of Sunrise is a trance music mix-compilation music CD series. The series, currently up to its sixteenth installment, is released on Tiësto's label SongBird, a subdivision of Black Hole Recordings. It debuted on the Billboard 200 at #170 with 4,200 sales. On April 7, 2010, Tiësto announced that he would no longer be involved with the In Search of Sunrise series, and would instead start a new mix-compilation series by the name Club Life on his new label Musical Freedom. On April 8, 2010, Black Hole Recordings announced that the series would be mixed by Dutch producer Richard Durand. Three years after Durand’s last installment, ISOS 14 was released in 2018 mixed by well-known DJs Markus Schulz, Gabriel & Dresden and Andy Moor.

In Search of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles is the fifth compilation album in the In Search of Sunrise series mixed by Dutch trance producer and DJ Tiësto, released on 25 April 2006 in the Netherlands. It was mixed while Tiësto was on holiday with his friend BT in Los Angeles in February 2006. The packaging contains a special slipcase that is printed with metallic foil. It was certificated Gold in Canada for sales over 50,000 copies. It also charted, peaking 34 in Canada and 59 in Austria.

<i>In My Memory</i> 2001 studio album by DJ Tiësto

In My Memory is the debut studio album by Dutch DJ Tiësto. It was released on 15 April 2001. This album featured the vocals of Jan Johnston, Nicola Hitchcock, and Kirsty Hawkshaw. Junkie XL produced "Obsession" on this album. This album produced five major hits that launched Tiësto's career. The singles were "Dallas 4PM", "Flight 643", "Obsession", "Lethal Industry" and "Suburban Train". These singles are well affiliated with Tiësto worldwide. A remix album was released later on and it charted #12 in the US Hot Dance Club Play.

SongBird

SongBird is a Dutch sub label owned by Tijs Verwest and Arny Bink. It is a sub label of Black Hole Recordings, established in 1997, and is most well known as the label on which Tiësto's popular trance series, In Search of Sunrise, was released.

<i>In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza</i> 2007 compilation album by Tiësto

In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza is the sixth album in the In Search of Sunrise series mixed by trance DJ/producer Tiësto, released on 7 September 2007 in the Netherlands and 16 October 2007 in the United States as a double disc album. This information was confirmed on 31 July 2007 on Tiësto's website. Many file-sharing websites, earlier in 2007, released a fake torrent of In Search of Sunrise 6, labeled In Search of Sunrise 6 - London, which even included a CD cover. This was quickly noted as a fake as information of the CD had not been released via Tiësto's website nor the In Search of Sunrise series website. A special release party was held at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam on 3 November 2007. Like previous In Search of Sunrise albums, this album contains a special slipcase. The album picture was taken by Stephanie Pistel. The compilation was awarded in the 2008 WMC Awards in Miami, it won for "Best Full Length DJ Mix CD".

In Search of Sunrise 7: Asia is a compilation album by Dutch trance producer and DJ Tiësto and his seventh and final contribution to the In Search of Sunrise compilation series. It was released on 10 June 2008 and was followed by a North American Tour during all of June. In 2008, Tiësto announced his In Search of Sunrise: North American Summer Tour 2008, the tour was presented by Armani Exchange on 23 May and ended on 4 July at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on Friday 13 June. This tour was in support of the In Search of Sunrise compilation, which was part of a sponsorship partnership, with exclusive apparel and a limited edition 3-CD set. An exclusive best of CD from the DJ’s own imprint Black Hole Recordings, called "10 Years of Black Hole Recordings" was released that year. Armani also sold an exclusive Tiësto branded tour T-shirt, and Tiësto performed at three A|X in-stores during the tour.

In Search of Sunrise 8: South Africa is a compilation album by Dutch trance producer Richard Durand. It was released on 10 May 2010 by SongBird. It is the eight installment in the In Search of Sunrise compilation series, and the first not to be mixed by Tiësto, the founder of the series in 1999. On 6 May 2010 Richard Durand released a 12-minute teaser preview of the compilation on SoundCloud.

Jason van Wyk is a composer, music producer and musician from South Africa. He is best known for his electronic and experimental compositions and has been releasing records since the early 2000s.
