In the Shadow of the Living Room is the debut and only studio album by American alternative hip hop duo Reaching Quiet consisting of Yoni Wolf and Odd Nosdam. It was released on Mush Records in 2002.
The songs "Broken Crow" and "Me And The Pea Coat" would later reappear on the 2003 tour and companion live album "Almost Live From Anna's Cabin" of chief songwriter Yoni Wolf's band WHY? with different instrumentation and structure.
Jason Nickey of AllMusic gave the album 4 stars out of 5, calling it "a surrealistic collage-style hip-hop symphony." [2] In 2008, the track "Broken Crow" was listed by The A.V. Club as one of the "25 Sad Songs for Changing Seasons". [5]

Anticon was an independent record label based in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1998 by seven musicians and manager Baillie Parker. It was collectively owned among six musicians, co-founder Parker, and manager Shaun Koplow. The original musicians signed to Anticon were once referred to as the Anticon collective. Following the death of one of its founding members in 2018, the label dissolved.

Why? is an American alternative hip hop and indie rock band. The band was founded in 2004 by Cincinnati rapper and singer Yoni Wolf, who had been using Why? as his stage name since 1997. In addition to Wolf, who serves as lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, the band consists of multi-instrumentalists and backing vocalists Doug McDiarmid and Matt Meldon, and drummer and backing vocalist Josiah Wolf, who is Yoni Wolf's older brother.
Endtroducing..... is the debut studio album by American music producer DJ Shadow, released on September 16, 1996, by Mo' Wax. It is an instrumental hip hop work composed almost entirely of samples from vinyl records. DJ Shadow produced Endtroducing over two years, using an Akai MPC60 sampler and little other equipment. He edited and layered samples to create new tracks of varying moods and tempos.
