Ina Beyermann (born 11 April 1965 in Leverkusen) is a German former swimmer who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics and in the 1988 Summer Olympics. [1]

Rajendran Absolem Christie was an Indian former field hockey player. He was the goalkeeper of the Indian hockey team that won the gold medal in the 1964 Summer Olympics at Tokyo, Japan, and the bronze medal in the 1968 Summer Olympics at Mexico City, Mexico. They also won the silver medal in the 1962 Asian Games at Jakarta, Indonesia.

Ina Wood was a British archer. She competed at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London. Wood competed at the 1908 Games in the only archery event open to women, the double National round. She took 22nd place in the event with 387 points.

Inga "Ine" Schäffer was an Austrian athlete who competed mainly in the Shot put. She was an Austrian champion in shot put, javelin, and discus. Between 1943 and 1950, she beat Austrian track and field records five times. She represented Austria in the 1948 Summer Olympics held in London, United Kingdom in the shot put, where she won the bronze medal. Schäffer immigrated to Canada in 1952, and later taught physical education in British Columbia. She married former assistant coach Karl Spreitz in 1953. She died in Victoria, B.C. in 2009.

Frances Cowells Schroth was an American competition swimmer, Olympic champion, and former world record-holder. She represented the United States at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp, Belgium. She won the gold medal as member of the first-place U.S. team in the 4×100-meter freestyle relay, together with Margaret Woodbridge, Irene Guest and Ethelda Bleibtrey. The American relay team set a new world record of 5:11.6 in the event final. Individually, she also won bronze medals for her third-place performances in the women's 100-meter freestyle (1:17.2) and the women's 300-meter freestyle (4:52.0).

The INAS Global Games is a quadrennial global, international multi-sport event organised by the International Sports Federation for Persons with Intellectual Disability (INAS). First organised in 2004, it is intended for elite competition in disability sports for athletes with intellectual disability and, since 2017, autism and down syndrome. It is the largest sporting event of its type. Athletes must have received classification from INAS to compete.
