Inai is a village in Saran district of Bihar state, India.

It has the Ghaghara River to its south, the Chhapra-Ballia railway line to its north, a small irrigation and flood canal to its west, and Chhapra municipality to its east. It gains significance due to its connection with Ramayana.[ citation needed ]

The present population is dependent on agriculture and the population consists of mainly Hindu Rajputs. Surwar and Chauhan Rajputs are the landed sections while other castes are mainly field hands. The village has two primary and two middle schools, while the nearest high school is 5 km away.[ citation needed ]

The village has produced a few volleyball and cricket players, which are considered the two main sports played in Inai.[ citation needed ]

The Khanzada or Khan Zadeh are a cluster community of Muslim Rajputs found in the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. A notable community is the Khanzadas of Mewat, the descendants of Raja Nahar Khan, who are a sub-clan of Jadaun. They refer to themselves as Muslim Rajputs. After the Partition of India in 1947, many members of this community migrated to Pakistan where they're known as Muhajirs.
