The president of the Czech Republic, officially the President of the Republic, is the head of state of the Czech Republic and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic.
Czech Television is a public television broadcaster in the Czech Republic, broadcasting seven channels. Established after breakup of Czechoslovakia in 1992, it is the successor to Czechoslovak Television founded in 1953.
The Czech Republic, presented as Czechia since 2023, has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 11 times since making its debut in 2007. Parliamentary elections were held in the Czech Republic on 28–29 May 2010 to elect the 200 members of the Chamber of Deputies. The elections had been expected to take place sometime before the end of 2009, but was postponed due to legal challenges. Before the election, the country had been governed by a caretaker administration headed by Jan Fischer. The Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) was the front-runner of the election and its leader Jiří Paroubek was the favourite to become the new Prime Minister.
Petr Fiala is a Czech politician and political scientist who has been the prime minister of the Czech Republic since November 2021 and leader of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) since 2014. He previously served as the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports from 2012 to 2013. Prior to entering politics, he was the rector of Masaryk University.
Petr Pavel is a Czech politician and retired army general who is the current president of the Czech Republic since March 2023. He previously served as Chairman of the NATO Military Committee from 2015 to 2018, and as the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces from 2012 to 2015.
ČT Déčko is a Czech free-to-air television channel operated by Czech Television, specialising in children's content designed for young viewers 2 to 12 years of age. The channel began broadcasting on 31 August 2013, with Petr Koliha as its first executive director.
The Civic Democratic Party (ODS) leadership election of 2008 was a part of party's congress. It happened after ODS lost Senate election and regional elections. Incumbent leader and Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek faced Mayor of Prague Pavel Bém who was supported by President Václav Klaus.
Presidential elections were held in the Czech Republic in January 2023, resulting in the election of Petr Pavel. Incumbent president Miloš Zeman was not eligible to run due to the two-term limit.
Spolu is a Czech centre-right political alliance formed for the 2021 legislative election, composed of the Civic Democratic Party, KDU-ČSL, and TOP 09. As of the 2021 Czech election it governs the Czech Republic in a coalition with the Pirates and Mayors alliance.

The Cabinet of Petr Fiala is the current government of the Czech Republic, appointed on 17 December 2021. Following elections in October 2021, President Miloš Zeman asked Petr Fiala, as the leader of the Spolu alliance, to form a new government. On 17 November 2021 Fiala presented Zeman with the names of his proposed cabinet, and Zeman agreed to appoint Fiala as the new Prime Minister on 28 November 2021.

Senate elections were held in the Czech Republic on 23 and 24 September 2022 alongside municipal elections. The election were won by the Spolu alliance consisting of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS), KDU-ČSL and TOP 09 which won 20 seats. The ODS was the most successful party, winning eight seats.
Operation Dozimetr is a name of Police operation in June 2022 related to investigation of corruption at Prague City Hall linked primarily to Transport Enterprises of the Capital City of Prague (DPP). After more than two years of monitoring, the Police of the Czech Republic carried out a mass raid on the Prague City Hall, at the headquarters of the Transport Enterprises of the Capital City of Prague and at dozens of other places. Eleven of the thirteen defendants were arrested including the then Deputy Mayor of Prague Petr Hlubuček a member of Mayors and Independents or the influential Zlín businessman Michal Redl who is the alleged head of the group. The Group was accused, for example, for influencing the public contracts of the Transport Company of the Capital City of Prague (DPP), bribery and efforts to divest assets from DPP and other institutions.
Danuše Nerudová, née Peslarová is a Czech economist and university professor. She was formerly the chair of the Commission for Fair Pensions and rector of Mendel University in Brno, both from 2018 to 2022. She was a candidate in the 2023 Czech presidential election, finished in third place in the first round vote.
Četníci z Luhačovic is a Czech crime television series. Its creative producer was Jan Maxa, the author of the project and main scriptwriter Petr Bok, Tomáš Feřtek also participated in the scripts. Directed by Biser A. Arichtev, Peter Bebjak and Dan Wlodarczyk. The plot of the series takes place in 1919. The central pair of young First Republic policemen were portrayed by Robert Hájek and Martin Donutil. The premiere of the first part took place on 6 January 2017.
Stíny v mlze is a 2022 crime drama television series by Czech Television. The premiere on ČT1 screens took place on 3 January 2022. The series was directed by Radim Špaček and the script was written by Zdeněk Zapletal. It consists of 12 episodes, each presenting a different case from Ostrava and its surroundings. The main roles of the investigators were played by Petra Špalková, Jiří Vyorálek and Petr Panzenberger. The daughter of Petra Špalková's character was played by Anděla Tichá, the real daughter of the actress. On 22 March 2023 Czech Television announced the series was renewed for season 2.
