Inchicore College of Further Education is part of the CDETB (City of Dublin Education and Training Board) and is located in the heart of Inchicore, Dublin, Ireland.
It was formerly known as Inchicore Vocational School when established in 1957.
The college provides courses in Leisure and Recreation Management, Leisure and Disability Studies, Sports Coaching, Travel and Tourism Management, Computer Applications and Business Skills, Business Studies, Childcare and Education, Pre-Nursing Studies, Pre-Paramedic Studies, Childcare Studies, Care Practice, Social Studies, Return to Education, Theatre Studies (Performance and Dance), Costume Design and Makeup, Stage Management, Sound and Lighting, Set Design and Construction, Art and Design, Creative Writing and Cultural Studies.
The college is only engaged in further education and has no second level courses or classes. Awards are provided at QQI Level 5 and 6 as well as BTEC HND. Some part-time childcare courses are also offered at QQI level 4 and 5.
Inchicore College operates an extensive European Links programme with partners in most member states of the EU. Students have the opportunity to participate in a work experience placement funded by the European Commission through the Leonardo da Vinci Programme. Inchicore College works with its European partners developing new programmes funded through the Commenius, Grundtvig and Leonardo da Vinci programmes, all of which are part of the Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013.
Further education in the United Kingdom and Ireland is additional education to that received at secondary school that is distinct from the higher education (HE) offered in universities and other academic institutions. It may be at any level in compulsory secondary education, from entry to higher level qualifications such as awards, certificates, diplomas and other vocational, competency-based qualifications through awarding organisations including City and Guilds, Edexcel (BTEC) and OCR. FE colleges may also offer HE qualifications such as HNC, HND, foundation degree or PGCE. The colleges are also a large service provider for apprenticeships where most of the training takes place at the apprentices' workplace, supplemented with day release into college.
The Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC), the legal successor to the National Council for Educational Awards (NCEA), granted higher education awards in Ireland beyond the university system from 2001 to 2012. HETAC was created in 2001, subject to the policies of the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland, and, specifically, granted qualifications at many Institutes of Technology and other colleges. HETAC was dissolved and its functions were passed to Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) on 6 November 2012.
Third-level education in the Republic of Ireland includes all education after second-level, encompassing higher education in universities and colleges and further education on Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) and other courses. Quality and Qualifications Ireland, a State agency, can grant awards in other institutions directly, or delegate the authority to do so. The King's Inns of Dublin has a limited role in education specialising in the preparation of candidates for the degree of barrister-at-law to practice as barristers. Medical schools in Ireland also have particular regulation. There were seven establishments of higher education within Ireland ranked among the top 500 universities worldwide by the Times Higher Education Supplement in 2008.

Pharmaceutical Management is an MSc in International Pharmaceutical Business Management. It will be offered on a full and part-time basis.
The University of Žilina was established on 1 October 1953 as the College of Railways in Prague. In 1959, the institution changed its name to the University of Transport and moved to Žilina. As a result of the increasing role of communications within the curriculum and research orientation of the university, the name was amended to the University of Transport and Communications in 1980.

Post-Leaving Certificate (PLC) courses are a set of courses and qualifications run in Ireland for students who have finished their secondary education. The term refers to post-secondary education courses which are not found within the higher education sector, but the further education sector in Ireland. The majority of students who enrol on a PLC course are under 23, but mature students are also welcome, and increasingly enrolling on such courses. A Post-Leaving Certificate course is taken after a student has passed their Leaving Certificate, and is generally between one and two years in duration. PLC courses are aimed primarily at students who would like to develop vocational or technological skills in order to enter an occupation, or progress to higher education.

IBAT College Dublin is a private for-profit higher education institution located in Dublin, Ireland. It was founded in 2004 as the Institute of Business and Technology. American College Dublin, a constituent college of Irish American University, is a private not-for-profit liberal arts institution accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). Established in 1993 in Dublin Ireland, the institution is located in the center of Dublin on Merrion Square in a number of Georgian era houses, one of which is the childhood home of Oscar Wilde. In addition to its American accreditation with MSCHE, American College Dublin offers programs placed at level-eight and level-nine on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications which are accredited by the Irish body Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and for which graduating students receive QQI awards.
Dorset College is a private college, located in Dublin city centre. Founded in 1983, it provides training in Computing, Business, English Language, University Foundation Programmes and Healthcare. A number of its programmes are accredited by the QQI at level 5 to level 8 on the Irish National Framework, as well as this it has programmes validated by professional bodies such as CIPD, QQI ACELS and PMI.
Technological University Dublin or TU Dublin is Ireland's first technological university, established on 1 January 2019, and with a history stretching back to 1887 through the amalgamated Dublin Institute of Technology which progressed from the first technical education institution in Ireland, the City of Dublin Technical Schools. It is the second-largest third-level institution in Ireland, with a student population of 28,500.
Plunket College of Further Education is a school in Whitehall, Dublin, established in 1967. Originally it was a vocational secondary school for boys, with preparation for the Group, Intermediate and Leaving Certificate, it has developed into a co-educational school focusing on the senior cycle and developing more post-leaving certificate courses in recent years. It is run by the City of Dublin Education and Training Board which replaced the Vocational Education Committee.
