Indian cricket team in Zimbabwe in 1996–97

The Indian national cricket team visited Zimbabwe in February 1997 and played two Limited Overs Internationals (LOIs) on 15 and 17 February 1997 at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, against the Zimbabwean national cricket team. Zimbabwe won by 8 wickets and were captained by Alistair Campbell; India by Sachin Tendulkar. [1]

The Indian cricket team toured Zimbabwe from 26 September to 10 October 1998 in a tour consisting of three One Day Internationals (ODI) and a one-off Test match. The ODI series was named Hero Honda series for sponsorship reasons.

The Sri Lanka national cricket team toured Zimbabwe in April and May 2004 to play 2 Test matches and 5 Limited Overs Internationals. The next time Zimbabwe played Sri Lanka in a Test match was in October 2016.

The South African cricket team toured England in the 2003 season to play a five-match Test series against England. The two teams also took part in a triangular One Day International tournament involving Zimbabwe.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2010 Under-19 Cricket World Cup</span> Cricket tournament in New Zealand

The 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was the eighth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup and took place in New Zealand. Since 1998, the tournament has been held every 2 years. This edition had 16 teams competing in 44 matches between 15 and 30 January 2010. These included the 10 ICC Full Members and 6 Qualifiers. The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in Kenya, but the International Cricket Council (ICC) moved it to New Zealand after an inspection in June 2009 found that it would be unrealistic to expect Kenya to complete preparations in time.

The Singer World Series was a quadrangular ODI cricket tournament held in Sri Lanka from 26 August to 7 September 1996. It featured the national cricket teams of Zimbabwe, Australia, India and the hosts, Sri Lanka. The competition was won by Sri Lanka, which defeated Australia in the final.

The Indian cricket team toured Zimbabwe between 15 and 25 October 1992. The series was played as a prelude for India's tour of South Africa, and included just one Test match and one One Day International (ODI).

The CAB Jubilee Tournament, also known as Hero Cup for sponsorship reasons, was a cricket tournament played in India in 1993 to commemorate the Cricket Association of Bengal's diamond jubilee. India, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa and Zimbabwe took part in the multi-nation tournament. Envisaged as a six-nation tournament Pakistan pulled out on 3 November, four days before the commencement of the first game. India beat West Indies in the final of the tournament to win the Hero Cup. Hero Cup was the first cricket event to be sponsored by Hero Honda.

The West Indian national cricket team toured Zimbabwe in October and November 2003 and played a two-match Test series against the Zimbabwean national cricket team. West Indies won the Test series 1–0. West Indies were captained by Brian Lara and Zimbabwe by Heath Streak. In addition, the teams played a five-match series of Limited Overs Internationals (LOI) which West Indies won 3–2. Before the test series, the West Indian team practiced at the Takashinga Cricket Club, which was officially opened by West Indian captain Brian Lara and a plaque to commemorate the moment was hung at the club house.

The England national cricket team toured New Zealand in February and March 1997 and played a three-match Test series against the New Zealand national cricket team. England won the series 2–0 with one match drawn. Five ODIs, along with 4 tour matches were also played.

The 2016 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament held in Bangladesh from 22 January to 14 February 2016. It was the eleventh edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the second to be held in Bangladesh, after the 2004 event.

The Zimbabwe national cricket team toured India in the 1992–93 season to play a Test match and three One day internationals. This was Zimbabwe's inaugural tour of India, and Zimbabwe lost all four matches.

The 2018 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament held in New Zealand from 13 January to 3 February 2018. It was the twelfth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the third to be held in New Zealand after the 2002 and the 2010 events. New Zealand became the first country to host the event thrice. The opening ceremony took place on 7 January 2018. The West Indies were the defending champions. However, they failed to defend their title, after losing their first two group fixtures.

The 2020 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in South Africa from 17 January to 9 February 2020. It was the thirteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the second to be held in South Africa after the 1998 event. Sixteen teams took part in the tournament, split into four groups of four. The top two teams from each group advanced to the Super League, with the bottom two teams in each group progressing to the Plate League. India were the defending champions.

The 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in the West Indies in January and February 2022 with sixteen teams taking part. It was the fourteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the first that was held in the West Indies. Bangladesh were the defending champions.

The Afghan cricket team toured Zimbabwe between January and February 2017. The tour consisted of five One Day International (ODI) matches. Ahead of the ODI series, the Afghanistan A cricket team played five "unofficial" List A ODI matches against the Zimbabwe A cricket team. Afghanistan won the List A series 4–1 and the ODI series 3–2.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup</span> International cricket tournament

The 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup was the eighth ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. It was played in Australia from 16 October to 13 November 2022. In the final, England beat Pakistan by five wickets to win their second ICC Men's T20 World Cup title. Sam Curran was named the Player of the match and also the Player of the tournament.

The 2024 ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup is an international limited-overs cricket tournament that is currently being held in South Africa from 19 January to 11 February 2024. It is the fifteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. India are the defending champions. Initially Sri Lanka were the host nation but later it was shifted to South Africa due to suspension of International Cricket Council (ICC) over Sri Lanka Cricket Board.
