The Indian cricket team toured Zimbabwe from 28 May to 7 July 2001 and played two Test matches against Zimbabwe, with each team winning one game match. This would be Zimbabwe's only Test victory over a side other than Bangladesh until they beat Pakistan in the second Test in 2013. [1] [2] [3]
India and Zimbabwe also participated in a triangular One Day International (ODI) competition with West Indies, with the latter eventually winning the competition. [4]

The Coca-Cola Cup was a One Day International (ODI) tournament that followed the Test series. West Indies were the third team that competed in addition to Zimbabwe and India. After six games between the three sides in the round-robin group stage, West Indies and India qualified for the final. [7] West Indies defeated India by 16 runs in the final. [8]
The 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup was the eighth Cricket World Cup, organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It was co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya from 9 February to 23 March 2003. This edition of the World Cup was the first to be played in Africa.
The 1996 Cricket World Cup, also called the Wills World Cup 1996 after the Wills Navy Cut brand produced by tournament sponsor ITC, was the sixth Cricket World Cup organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It was the second World Cup to be hosted by Pakistan and India but Sri Lanka were hosts for the first time. The tournament was won by Sri Lanka, who defeated Australia by seven wickets in the final on 17 March 1996 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan.
Rahul Sharad Dravid is an Indian cricket coach and former captain of the Indian national team, currently serving as its head coach. Prior to his appointment to the senior men's national team, Dravid was the Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), and the head coach of the India Under-19 and India A teams. Under his tutelage, the Under-19 team finished as runners-up at the 2016 U-19 Cricket World Cup and won the 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup. Known for his outstanding batting technique, Dravid scored 24,177 runs in international cricket and is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket. He is colloquially known as Mr. Dependable and often referred to as The Wall. He helped the Indian national cricket team become the winner of the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy. Under his coaching, Indian cricket team finished as runners-up at the 2023 Cricket World Cup and 2023 ICC World Test Championship final and were semifinalist at the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
Yuvraj Singh is a former Indian international cricketer who played in all formats of the game. He is an all-rounder who batted left-handed in the middle order and bowled slow left-arm orthodox. He has won 7 Player of the Series awards in ODI cricket, which is joint 3rd highest by an Indian, shared with former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly. He is also the son of former Indian fast bowler and Punjabi actor Yograj Singh.
The Bangladesh men's national cricket team, popularly known as The Tigers, is administered by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). Hemang Kamal Badani is a former Indian international cricketer. He is a left-handed batter and an occasional slow left-arm bowler. He had represented the Indian cricket team while also representing Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Haryana and Vidarbha in domestic cricket.
The Kenya men's national cricket team represents the Republic of Kenya in international cricket. Kenya is an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) which has Twenty20 International (T20I) status after the ICC granted T20I status to all of their members.
India toured the West Indies during the 2006 international cricket season. India were ranked highly above the West Indies in both the ICC Test Championship as well as the ICC ODI Championship but the latter team had the favour of beating Zimbabwe 5–0 in a series of One Day International matches earlier in the month. West Indies eventually emerged as winners of this ODI series, taking it 4–1 after losing the first match in the final over.

The West Indies cricket team toured Zimbabwe in June and July 2001 to play 2 Test matches against Zimbabwe. The series was named Clive Lloyd Trophy, in honor of former West Indian great Clive Lloyd. West Indies won the first title of the trophy by 1-0.

The 2016 ICC World Twenty20 was the sixth edition of the ICC World Twenty20, the world championship of Twenty20 International cricket. It was held in India from 8 March to 3 April 2016, and was the first edition to be hosted by India.
The West Indian national cricket team toured Zimbabwe in October and November 2003 and played a two-match Test series against the Zimbabwean national cricket team. West Indies won the Test series 1–0. West Indies were captained by Brian Lara and Zimbabwe by Heath Streak. In addition, the teams played a five-match series of Limited Overs Internationals (LOI) which West Indies won 3–2. Before the test series, the West Indian team practiced at the Takashinga Cricket Club, which was officially opened by West Indian captain Brian Lara and a plaque to commemorate the moment was hung at the club house.
Pool B of the 2015 Cricket World Cup took place from 15 February to 15 March 2015. The group consisted of India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Zimbabwe, West Indies and South Africa. This phase of the tournament was played as a full round-robin amongst all seven teams, with India, South Africa, Pakistan and West Indies advancing to the quarter-finals. India remained unbeaten in this Group.
The 2018 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament that took place during March 2018 in Zimbabwe. It formed the final part of the Cricket World Cup qualification process for the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales. The top two teams, Afghanistan national cricket team and the West Indies, qualified for the World Cup, joining the hosts and the seven teams who had already qualified through their ranking in the ICC ODI Championship. Afghanistan won the tournament, beating the West Indies by 7 wickets in the final. Afghanistan’s Mohommad Shahzad was named the player of the match and Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza was named the player of the tournament.
The 2016–17 Zimbabwe Tri-Series was a One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament that was held in Zimbabwe in November 2016. It was a tri-nation series between the national representative cricket teams of Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and the West Indies. The Sri Lankan team were originally scheduled to tour Zimbabwe for two Tests, three ODIs and one Twenty20 International (T20I). However, the ODIs and T20I were replaced by this tri-series.

It was a tri-nation series between the national representative cricket teams of the Zimbabwe, India and West Indies. West Indies won the tournament by defeating India by 16 runs in the final.
The 2001 Sri Lanka Coca-Cola Cup was a One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament held in Sri Lanka in late June 2001. It was a tri-nation series between the national representative cricket teams of the Sri Lanka, India and New Zealand. Sri Lanka won the tournament by defeating India by 121 runs in the final.
The 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was the 12th edition of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier, which took place in June and July 2023 in Zimbabwe. It was the culmination of the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process and decided the final two participants for the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
Pakistan cricket team won the World Cup in 1992 under the captaincy of Imran Khan. Pakistan have also been runners up at the 1999 Cricket World Cup where they lost to Australia in the Final. They have been Semi Finalists four times and have also reached the Quarter Finals twice. Pakistan's historical win–loss record at the cricket world cup is 49-36, with 3 no results. Javed Miandad has appeared in six Cricket World Cups which is more than any other player from Pakistan.
