Indonesia Today is the first English-language newscast ever carried by a private television network in Indonesia. It appeared on RCTI from 1 November 1996 to 31 August 2001. On 31 August 2001, Indonesia Today was discontinued due to lack of ratings and replaced by Indonesian-language criminal news, Sergap.
RCTI is a West Jakarta-based Indonesian free-to-air television network. It is best known for its soap operas, celebrity bulletins, news, and sports programmes. It was first launched in 1989, originally as a local pay television operator that broadcasts mostly foreign programmes, before switching to free-to-air terrestrial network a year later.

PT Global Informasi Bermutu, operating as GTV, which is an initialism derived from its previous name, Global TV, is an Indonesian free-to-air television network. It was launched on 8 October 2002. Originally a music television channel as MTV broadcaster in Indonesia and Asia, GTV shifted its focus to general entertainment programming targeting young adults. Currently the network airs news, soap opera, reality and game shows, along with Nickelodeon animation series and anime making up its programming schedule. It is owned by Media Nusantara Citra (MNC), which also owns RCTI, MNCTV and iNews.
TVRI, legally Lembaga Penyiaran Publik (LPP) Televisi Republik Indonesia is an Indonesian national public television network. Established on 24 August 1962, it is the oldest television network in the country. Its national headquarters is in Gelora, Central Jakarta.

It was broadcast for the first time on 17 March 1997, and ended on 28 April 2000. It broadcasts for 30 minutes from 07:00-07:30 WIB after Liputan 6 Pagi. It based from the same format of TVRI News and RCTI's Indonesia Today.
The 1995–96 Liga Indonesia Premier Division was the second season of the Liga Indonesia Premier Division, the top division of Indonesian football. The season began on 26 November 1995 and ended on 6 October 1996. Bandung Raya won the title after beating PSM 2–0 in the final.

RTV is currently segmented as "family television", licensed via the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, and its frequency is coordinated through the Department of Transportation. RTV officially aired for the first time on 1 November 2009, in Jakarta as the B-Channel. The B-Channel changed its name to RTV with the launch of Langit Rajawali on 3 May 2014.

The program is also one of the longest-running news program in Indonesia.

TVRI Jakarta is a regional public television station owned by TVRI, serving Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Indonesia and surrounding areas. TVRI Jakarta studios are located in Jalan Gerbang Pemuda, Central Jakarta, the same place as the TVRI national headquarters.
