Ingrid Jensen (born January 12, 1966) is a Canadian jazz trumpeter.
Jensen was born in North Vancouver and grew up in Nanaimo. She received a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. [1] [2]
After graduating from Berklee, she toured with the Vienna Art Orchestra and taught at the Bruckner Conservatory in Austria when she was 25. She went back to the U.S. in 1994 and became a member of the DIVA Big Band. During the same year, her debut album Vernal Fields (Enja, 1994) appeared [3] and won a Juno Award. [2]
Jensen has worked with Maria Schneider, Steve Wilson, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Bob Berg, Gary Bartz, Bill Stewart, Terri Lyne Carrington, Geoffrey Keezer, Billy Hart, George Garzone, Chris Connor, Victor Lewis, Clark Terry, Frank Wess, and Billy Taylor, as well as her sister Christine Jensen.
She has performed on Saturday Night Live with the British soul singer Corrine Bailey Rae and in the horn section backing actor Denis Leary.

Steve Wilson is an American jazz multi-instrumentalist, who is best known in the musical community as a flutist and an alto and soprano saxophonist. He also plays the clarinet and the piccolo. Wilson performs on many different instruments and has performed and recorded on over twenty-five albums. His interests include folk, jazz, classical, world music, and experimental music. Wilson is currently on the faculty of New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts. He was elected as an American Champion by the National Flute Association. Wilson has maintained a busy career working as a session musician, and has contributed to many musicians of note both in the recording studios, but as a sideman on tours. Over the years he has participated in engagements with several musical ensembles, as well as his own solo efforts.
Tia Fuller is an American saxophonist, composer, and educator, and a member of the all-female band touring with Beyoncé. Fuller is currently a faculty member in the ensembles department at Berklee College of Music. Fuller was a Featured Jazz Musician in Pixar's animated film Soul. For the film Fuller plays an alto saxophone with a Vandoren mouthpiece for the character Dorothea Williams. The appearance of Dorothea Williams is influenced by Fuller, and the character's speaking lines are voiced by Angela Bassett.
Walter Smith III is an American jazz saxophonist and composer. He is the Chair of the Woodwind Department at the Berklee College of Music.
