Ingrid Jungermann is an American director, producer, screenwriter, and actor. They are best known for Women Who Kill , their directorial film debut, and web series The Slope and F to 7th . [1]

Career

Jungermann graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts (NYU), with an MFA. [2] Jungermann was selected one of the "25 New Faces of 2012" by Filmmaker magazine. [3] In 2017, they were a recipient of the Sundance FilmTwo Fellowship. [4]

Jungermann created their breakout web series The Slope with Desiree Akhavan while the two were postgraduate film students at NYU. [3] [5]

Personal life

Jungermann is polyamorous, queer, [6] and uses they/them pronouns. [7] They publicly stated "I think you should demand to be called a queer filmmaker. It's a badge." [5] [8]
