Inhale is the fourth studio album of the Greek synthpop duo Marsheaux. It features 1980s-style synthpop.

The Greeks or Hellenes are an ethnic group native to Greece, Cyprus, southern Albania, Italy, Turkey, Egypt and, to a lesser extent, other countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea. They also form a significant diaspora, with Greek communities established around the world.

Marsheaux band that plays synthpop

Marsheaux is a Greek synthpop duo formed in Athens in 2003. The group is composed of vocalists, songwriters and keyboardists Marianthi Melitsi and Sophie Sarigiannidou. The name Marsheaux is derived from the first syllable of each band member's name. Both members sing almost exclusively in English. Andy McCluskey of OMD said about this band: "I do have a soft spot for Marsheaux I have to say. They have a certain sort of wispy, melancholic charm".

The Sonic Seducer's reviewer noted, that Inhale had probably surpassed the musical quality of Marsheaux's long-term role model The Human League. [2] According to the Release Magazine , the album is Marsheaux's "most advanced effort" but was still deemed slightly weaker than the previous release Lumineux Noir . [1]

The Human League English electronic New Wave band

The Human League are a British synth-pop band formed in Sheffield in 1977. Initially an experimental electronic outfit, the group signed to Virgin Records in 1979 and later attained widespread commercial success with their third album Dare in 1981. The album contained four hit singles, including the UK/US number one hit "Don't You Want Me." The band received the Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act in 1982. Further hits followed throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s, including "Mirror Man," "(Keep Feeling) Fascination," "The Lebanon," "Human" and "Tell Me When."

Release Magazine is an independent alternative music online magazine based in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was born in Umeå in 1986. The first years it was run by Britta Näsman as an A5 fanzine, just for fun. When she moved to Belgium, Mikael Kahrle and Lotta Kahrle took over the business gradually. They wanted to slowly convert Release to a real magazine, which they did. The web magazine was established in 1997, while the printed version was published until August 1998.

In addition, there was a limited edition bonus CD, containing remixes of Inhale, Can You Stop Me, and August Day, as well as remixes of the track "So Far," from their earlier CD, Lumineux Noir .

Lumineux Noir is the third studio album of the Greek synthpop duo Marsheaux. It was released on 19 July 2009 by Undo Records. According to the Side-Line magazine, it did not "bring an evolution in sound, but shows a growing maturity in song writing and production". It is reminiscent of 1980s synthpop with tracks that have been compared to Ladytron, Chemical Brothers and Client.

Kite are a Swedish synthpop group composed of Nicklas Stenemo and Christian Berg. Originating from Malmö and now based in Stockholm they are signed to Progress Productions and have published six EPs since their debut in 2008. Each of them was released on CD and as a limited vinyl record edition. Kite have performed on festivals like Recession Festival in Århus, Denmark, and on Arvika Festival and Putte i parken in Sweden and Wave Gotik Treffen Leipzig.

Drastic Cinematic is an LP by the American synthpop/electropop band Hyperbubble from German label Pure Pop For Now People. Guest vocals on the title track were provided by Aidan Casserly of Empire State Human, with whom the band would later work on the single, "Aidan Casserly Vs. Hyperbubble". The song "Geometry" included vocals by Manda Rin of the Scottish bands Bis and Data Panik as well as sampled sounds from her cat, Akiko. Cesair Dutch musical group

Cesair is a Dutch band formed in 2008 who make pagan folk, world fusion and world music. They are the main representatives of the pagan folk music scene in the Netherlands, alongside pagan folk band Omnia. The band refer to their genre as “Epic Folk & Mythic Music”. They perform on a variety of modern and traditional instruments, including accordion, hurdy-gurdy, hammered dulcimer, Irish bouzouki, violin, cello, bodhrán and many others. Their songs are performed in a variety of languages ranging from Arabic, medieval Celtic languages, English, Latin, Greek, to Middle Dutch, Old Norse and more.
