Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. is a German professional sports club based in Frankfurt, Hesse, that is best known for its football club, currently playing in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system. The club was founded in 1899 and have won one German championship, five DFB-Pokals, one UEFA Cup and once finished as runner-up in the European Cup. The team was one of the founding members of the Bundesliga at its inception and has spent a total of 51 seasons in the top division, thus making them the seventh longest participating club in the highest tier of the league.

Wilhelm Genazino was a German journalist and author. He worked first as a journalist for the satirical magazine pardon and for Lesezeichen. From the early 1970s, he was a freelance writer who became known by a trilogy of novels, Abschaffel-Trilogie, completed in 1979. It was followed by more novels and two plays. Among his many awards is the prestigious Georg Büchner Prize.
Doron Rabinovici is an Israeli-Austrian writer, historian and essayist. He was born in Tel Aviv in 1961 and moved to Vienna in 1964.
Herfried Münkler is a German political scientist. He is a Professor of Political Theory at Humboldt University in Berlin. Münkler is a regular commentator on global affairs in the German-language media and author of numerous books on the history of political ideas, on state-building and on the theory of war, such as "Machiavelli" (1982), "Gewalt und Ordnung" (1992), "The New Wars" and "Empires: The Logic of World Domination from Ancient Rome to the United States". In 2009 Münkler was awarded the Leipzig Book Fair Prize in the category "Non-fiction" for Die Deutschen und ihre Mythen.

The Museum für Moderne Kunst, or short MMK, in Frankfurt, Germany, was founded in 1981 and opened to the public June 6, 1991. The museum was designed by the Viennese architect Hans Hollein. Because of its triangular shape, it is popularly called "piece of cake", Claes Oldenburg artistically has expressed in a work.
Ingeborg Lüscher is a German/Swiss artist, working with painting, sculpture, photography, installation and video. Her work has been exhibited in many institutional venues around the world, including the Musée d‘art moderne de la ville de Paris, the Centre d‘Art Contemporain in Geneva, the Kunstmuseum Luzern and the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin.

Hilmar Hoffmann was a German stage and film director, cultural politician and academic lecturer. He founded the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. He was for decades an influential city councillor in Frankfurt, where he initiated the Museumsufer of 15 museums, including the Jewish Museum Frankfurt. He was the president of the Goethe-Institut and taught at universities such as Bochum and Tel Aviv. He wrote the book Kultur für alle, which was a motto of his life and work.
Anne Weber is a German-French author, translator and self-translator. Since 1983 Anne Weber has lived in Paris. She studied in Paris and worked for several editors. Anne Weber started writing and publishing in French, but immediately translated her first book Ida invente la poudre into German Ida erfindet das Schießpulver. Since then she writes each of her books in French and German. Her self-translations are often published at the same time in France and Germany. In 2005 she received the 3Sat award at the Festival of German-Language Literature. For her translation of Pierre Michon she received a European translation award, the Europäischer Übersetzerpreis Offenburg. She was awarded the 2020 German Book Prize.

Bodo Kirchhoff is a German writer and novelist. He was born in Hamburg before moving with his family to Kirchzarten in the Black Forest in 1955, which he describes as a culture shock. In addition to writing literary fiction, he has worked on various projects for German television, such as long-runner Tatort, and has written movie screenplays. One of his best-known novels is Infanta (1990), which has been translated into more than a dozen languages. In 2016, his novel, which features an African migrant in Italy, Encounter won the German Book Prize.
