Into It. Over It./Such Gold is a split EP between American Emo revival bands Into It. Over It. and Such Gold. The EP was released on May 20, 2011 through No Sleep Records and Mightier Than Sword Records.
A split album is a music album which includes tracks by two or more separate artists. There have been singles and EPs of the same variety, which are often called "split singles" and "split EPs" respectively. Split albums differ from "various artists" compilation albums in that they generally include several tracks of each artist, or few artists with one or two tracks each, instead of multiple artists with only one or two tracks each.
The emo revival is an underground emo movement which came about in the early 2010s. Groups of the emo revival largely abandon the style of mid 2000s emo in favor of a style influenced by that of 1990s emo acts.
Into It. Over It. is the indie rock solo project of the Chicago, Illinois-based musician Evan Thomas Weiss. It is considered one of the leading acts in the emo revival scene of the 2010s.

The Ataris are an American rock band from Anderson, Indiana. Formed in 1996, they have released five studio albums, with So Long, Astoria certified gold. In 2009, an album was announced to be entitled The Graveyard of the Atlantic although the album's status has been on indefinite ambiguity, with just two EPs released in 2010 and 2012 both with the same titles as the awaited album. This split features an original song from each band, as well as each band covering a song from the opposite artist. Into It. Over It. covers “Poor Souls,” which can be found on Owen’s 2002 full-length No Good For No One Now, and recreates it into an even more soft and sad song. Owen's cover of “Anchor,” from Into It. Over It.’s album 52 Weeks, brings out a punky edge.
