Judas Priest are an English heavy metal band formed in Birmingham in 1969. They have sold over 50 million copies of their albums, and are frequently ranked as one of the greatest metal bands of all time. Despite an innovative and pioneering body of work in the latter half of the 1970s, the band had struggled with indifferent record production and a lack of major commercial success until 1980, when they rose to commercial success with the album British Steel.

Chemlab is an American industrial rock band formed in Washington D.C., in 1989 by Dylan Thomas More, Joe Frank, and Jared Louche. Influenced by the pioneers of the industrial genre, such as Throbbing Gristle, Chemlab mixed experimental sounds with rock and metal within an electronic framework. They released their first EP 10 Ton Pressure (1990), parted ways with Frank and moved to New York City, their base for the duration of their career. Chemlab released their debut album Burn Out at the Hydrogen Bar in 1993 and toured with acts such as White Zombie, KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, 16volt, and GWAR.

Fight were an English-American heavy metal band assembled by vocalist Rob Halford after his departure from Judas Priest in 1992. He took with him drummer Scott Travis, though Travis also continued to drum for Judas Priest. The line-up was completed by Russ Parrish on guitar, Brian Tilse on guitar and keyboards, and Jack "Jay Jay" Brown on bass guitar, the latter of the two former members of Cyanide.

War of Words is the debut album by the American heavy metal band Fight, released on September 14, 1993 by Epic Records. This is the first release Rob Halford recorded after his departure from Judas Priest in 1992. He brought with him drummer Scott Travis from the band and recruited three new members. The music is a mixture between the heavy metal sound created by Judas Priest and a thrash/groove sound similar to that of Pantera. Halford is also credited with playing guitar but only recorded vocals for the album.

K5 – The War of Words Demos is a compilation album by heavy metal band Fight, released on November 28, 2007. It mostly consists of demo recordings originally made in July 1992 in Phoenix, Arizona, of what would become their 1993 debut release War of Words, and also includes five new songs.
"Auld Lang Syne " is a song by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey from her second Christmas album/thirteenth studio album, Merry Christmas II You (2010). The second single from the album, an extended play consisting of nine remixes was released by Island on December 14, 2010. Using the public domain poem "Auld Lang Syne" by Robert Burns, Carey along with Randy Jackson and Johnny "Sev" Severin composed a new arrangement, added lyrics and re-titled it. The track garnered a negative response from critics, all of whom disliked how Carey had re-composed the poem into a house song. An accompanying music video was released featuring a pregnant Carey singing in front of a background of exploding fireworks. "Auld Lang Syne " charted on the lower regions of the South Korean international singles charts and at number nine on the US Holiday Digital Songs chart.
