Irene Bucher is a Swiss orienteering competitor. She won a bronze medal in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships in Thun in 1981, together with Ruth Schmid, Annelies Meier and Ruth Humbel. [1] [2]

Annichen Kringstad is a Swedish orienteer. Kringstad was the first household name orienteer in Sweden, and she was a major reason for the popularisation of the sport. World Orienteering Championships

He was also part of the Finnish team that obtained bronze in the 1981 Relay World Championship in Thun, Switzerland.

He also won silver medals in the 1978 and 1981 relays, and a bronze medal in 1983 and 1987. He placed fifth in the individual contest in the 1979 World Championships, and fourth in 1981.

Ruth Humbel Swiss politician

Ruth Humbel is a Swiss politician (CVP) and a member of the Federal Assembly. She is also an orienteering competitor at international level. She won bronze medals in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships in 1978, 1981 and 1985. She placed fourth in the individual event at the 1981 World Championships, and fifth in the relay in 1979.

Ruth Schmid is a Swiss orienteering competitor. She won a bronze medal in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships in 1981, together with Annelies Meier, Irene Bucher and Ruth Humbel.

Annelies Meier is a Swiss orienteering competitor. She won a bronze medal in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships in Thun in 1981, together with Ruth Schmid, Irene Bucher and Ruth Humbel.

Ruth Baumberger is a Swiss orienteering competitor. She competed at the 1974 World Orienteering Championships in Viborg, where she placed 11th in the individual contest, and fourth in the relay with the Swiss team. The World Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships is the official event for awarding World Champion titles in mountain bike orienteering. The World Championships, also known as WMTBOC, were first held in 2002, and since 2004 they have been organized annually – except in 2020. The programme includes Long distance, Middle distance, Sprint, Mass Start, and a Relay for both men and women.

Willi Müller is a Swiss orienteering competitor who participated in five World Orienteering Championships in the 1970s and 1980s. He competed at the 1978 World Championships in Kongsberg, where he placed 16th in the individual course and fourth in the relay with the Swiss team. At the 1979 World Championships in Tampere he placed 18th individually and again fourth in the relay. He competed on the Swiss relay team at the World Championships in Thun in 1981, where the team placed fifth. At the 1983 World Championships in Zalaegerszeg he placed tenth in the individual contest, and fourth in the relay. At the 1985 World Championships in Bendigo he participated on the Swiss team which won the bronze medal.
