Irina Terentjeva (born June 30, 1984) is a Lithuanian former cross-country skier who has competed since 2000. She competed in three Winter Olympics: Salt Lake City 2002, Turin 2006 and Vancouver 2010, she earned her best finish of 37th in the individual sprint event at Turin in 2006.
Irina Terentjeva won a silver medal in individual 10 km F event in the 2001 European Youth Championships (EYOF 2001) in Vuokatti, Finland. She won a bronze medal in the individual 5 km F event at the 2002 Junior World Championships in Schonach, Germany.
Terentjeva's best finish at the FIS U23 World Ski Championships was a 7th place in the individual 10 km F event in Tarvisio 2007.
Terentjeva's best finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was 27th in the individual sprint event at Val di Fiemme in 2003. Terentjeva's best finish at the individual 10 km F event was 30th at the 2007 World Ski Championships in Sapporo.
Her best World Cup finish was 25th at a 10 km event in Finland in 2005. Terentjeva's best position at the individual event 15 km F at the Winter Universiade was a 4th place in Pragelato 2007.

A five-time Olympian, her five Olympic medals at the 2018 Pyeongchang Games brought her total number of medals up to a record 15, the most by any athlete in Winter Olympics history.
Laurence Rochat is a Swiss cross-country skier who has competed since 1996. She won a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and had her best individual finish with a 15th place in the Individual sprint at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.

Four years later in Vancouver, Kuitunen won another bronze, this time in the 4 × 5 km relay.
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 took place 22 February – 4 March 2007 in Sapporo, Japan. It was the second time this city has hosted these championships, having previously done so in the 1972 Winter Olympics. Sapporo was selected as venue by vote at the 43rd FIS World Congress in Portorož, Slovenia, on 6 June 2002. It also marked the third time the championships were hosted outside Europe in a year that did not coincide with the Winter Olympics; it was the first championship held in Asia. The ski jumping team normal hill event was not held, as it had been in 2005.

Britta Johanna Helena Johansson Norgren is a Swedish cross-country skier who has been competing since 2002. She won a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec. Her best individual finish at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships is 26th in the individual sprint at Sapporo in 2007.
Elena Vladimirovna Kolomina is a Kazakhstani cross-country skier who has been competing since 1998. She finished fifth in the team sprint at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo and had her best individual finish of 21st in the sprint event at the 2001 championships in Lahti.
Olga Vasiljonok is a Belarusian cross-country skier who has been competing since 2000. She finished sixth in the team sprint at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo and earned her best individual finish of 17th in the individual sprint event at the 2009 championships in Liberec.
Marianna Longa is an Italian cross-country skier from Livigno. She started her professional career in 1997, and her first appearance in a world cup race was on 17 March 2000 in Bormio. Longa is currently part of the Fiamme Gialle, and the Italian cross-country national team. Longa is also a strong runner. She retired from cross-country skiing after the 2010–11 season.
At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec, Czech Republic, twelve cross-country skiing events were held with six for men and six for women. The format of the program was unchanged since the 2005 World Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany. For the men's events, Norway won five of the six events and a total of six medals with Petter Northug winning golds in the pursuit, 50 km and relay events. Ola Vigen Hattestad won two golds in the sprint events. The only event the Norwegians did not win was in the 15 km event, won by Estonia's Andrus Veerpalu, who became the oldest world champion ever.
Irina Viktorovna Khazova, born Irina Artemova is a Russian cross-country skier who competed from 2003 to 2007. She was then suspended for two years for the use of illegal drugs (doping). She then resumed her career for the 2009–10 Olympic season in very good shape. Khazova won a bronze in the women's team sprint event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Maryna Mykolayivna Antsybor is a Ukrainian cross country skier who has competed internationally since 2005. She represented Ukraine at the 2010, 2014, and 2018 Winter Olympics. She won a gold and a bronze medal at the 2013 Winter Universiade as well as a silver medal at the 2011 Winter Universiade.. She competed at the 2022 Winter Olympics, in Women's 10 kilometre classical, Women's 30 kilometre freestyle, Women's 15 kilometre skiathlon, Women's sprint, and Women's 4 × 5 kilometre relay.
