Iron Center is an unincorporated community in Crawford County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] The community was located adjacent to the railroad on what is now Missouri Route ZZ (old Route 66) approximately three miles southwest of Cuba. [2]
Iron Center was a shipping point of iron, hence the name. [3]
Crawford County is a county located in the east-central portion of the U.S. state of Missouri. At the 2020 Census, the population was 23,056. Its county seat is Steelville. The county was organized in 1829 and is named after U.S. Senator William H. Crawford of Georgia.
Rosati is an unincorporated community in northeast Phelps County, Missouri, United States. The community is adjacent to the Phelps-Crawford county line on Missouri Route KK four miles (6 km) east of St. James. This road is also the former U.S. Highway 66.
