Ishma Tanjim (born 10 February 1997) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for the Bangladesh women's cricket team as an all-rounder. [1] [2]
In October 2019,she was selected for Bangladesh Emerging Team for the ACC Women's Emerging Teams Cup. [3] [4]
In July 2024,she was earned maiden call-up for national team for the 2024 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup. [5] [6] She made her Twenty20 International (T20I) debut against Sri Lanka on 20 July 2024. [7] [8]
The Bangladesh women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Bangladesh in international women's cricket matches. They made their international debut when they played,and won,two matches against Thailand in July 2007 before participating in and winning the 2007 ACC Women's Tournament. Bangladesh were granted One-Day International (ODI) status in 2011 after finishing fifth in the 2011 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier. They subsequently qualified for the 2014 ICC Women's World Twenty20 as hosts,making their first appearance at a top-level women's international tournament. They have also won the 2018 edition of ACC Women's Asia Cup. This was the only instance in ACC Women's Asia Cup where any team other than India won the tournament.
