Isiekenesi, is a community in Ideato South Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. [1]
By 2009, poor access roads was identified as one of the key constraints militating against optimal performance in informal economic activities amongst rural women of Isiekenesi, Dikenafai, Mgbidi, Nkwerre, Amiri, Otulu and other communities in Orlu senatorial zone of Imo State. [2] : 91 Other problems identified included electricity, portable water and lack of credit facilities to small markets. Land tenure problems were also identified as one of the greatest factors that hindered development of large-scale farming in the zone. [2]

Owerri is the capital city of Imo State in Nigeria, set in the heart of Igboland. It is also the state's largest city, followed by Orlu, Okigwe and Ohaji/Egbema. Orashi River, is a river of the lower Niger River basin, and a tributary of Oguta Lake, southeastern Nigeria. Urashi takes off, 183 m above mean sea level, from the rocks in Ezeama community of Dikenafai, Imo State. Described as a lifeline to Ideato South communities, Orashi stream serves as an all purpose river for drinking, washing and many others to communities such as Umulewe, Umuchima and Ntueke in the area.

Umuezukwe is an ancient trade route, a river port, and a farming community in Awo-Omamma, northeast of the Niger Delta region, Nigeria's South East, Imo State. It is one of the densely populated Awo-Omamma rural settlements in the Njaba River basin.
