Islambek Tsilimovich Albiev ( ‹See Tfd› Russian : Исламбек Цилимович Альбиев, Chechen : СаӀид-Цилиман кӀант Альбиев Ислам-Бека; born December 28, 1988, in Chechnya) [2] is a Russian wrestler of Chechen descent, who won a gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Greco-Roman wrestling. Albiev is a World champion (2009) and two-time European champion (2009 and 2016).

His elder brother Buvaisar Saitiev, also a wrestler, was a three-time Olympic champion and six-time World champion.

Adlan Abuevich Varayev was a Russian-Chechen welterweight freestyle wrestler who won a silver medal at the 1988 Olympics. He won the 1987 World Championships, beating Dave Schultz in the final, and placed second in 1986. Varayev held the European welterweight title in 1986–1988. After retiring from competitions worked as a wrestling coach and administrator. He trained the Russian national freestyle team and served as vice-president of the Russian Wrestling Federation. He drowned after a bad fall into the Argun River.

Dilshod Aripov is an amateur Uzbekistani Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's lightweight category. He is a two-time medalist at the Asian Games, and five-time at the Asian Wrestling Championships. Aripov also achieved his early international success by defeating Armenia's Karen Mnatsakanyan for a gold medal in the 58 kg class at the 2001 World Wrestling Championships in Patras, Greece.

Soner Sucu is an amateur Turkish Greco-Roman wrestler, who competes in the men's lightweight category. He won a bronze medal in his division at the 2009 Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy. Sucu is a member of the wrestling team for Bueyuek Sehir Belediyesi, and is coached and trained by Hakki Basar.

Anzor Adamovich Boltukayev is a Russian freestyle wrestler of Chechen descent. He competes in the 96 kg division and won the bronze medal in the same division at the 2013 World Wrestling Championships defeated Aleksey Krupnyakov of Kyrgyzstan.

Rasul Abakar oghlu Chunayev is an Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler. He was born 7 January 1991 in Yeni Şərif, Balakən, Azerbaijan, to Avar parents. He is a world champion and European vice-champion in men's Greco-Roman wrestling.
