The Israeli Basketball Premier League Most Improved Player, or Israeli Basketball Super League Most Improved Player, is an award given to the Most Improved Player of each season of the Israeli Basketball Premier League, which is the top-tier level men's professional basketball league in Israel.
In some sports, a Most Improved Player award is given to players who have improved the most over the year.
Ligat HaAl, or the Israeli Basketball Premier League, is the top-tier level league of professional competition in Israeli club basketball, making it Israel's primary basketball competition. The league's name is abbreviated as either BSL or ISBL. For sponsorship reasons, the league is also referred to as Ligat Winner Sal, lit. Winner Basket League, with "Winner" being the name of a game operated by the league's primary sponsor, Toto Winner.
Hapoel Galil Elyon, also known as Hapoel Nofar Energy Galil Elion for sponsorship reasons, is an Israeli basketball club. The team competes in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, the top tier of Israeli basketball, and internationally in the Balkan League. The team represents the northern region of the country – the Upper Galilee, and the Golan Heights.

The Israeli Basketball League Cup is a pre-season professional basketball tournament that is contested between clubs. It has been held in Israel since 2006. It is held during the week before the start of the Israeli Premier League season. The Israeli League Cup tournament is currently sponsored by Pais Lotto, and therefore it is officially known as the Chance Cup. Previously, the tournament was sponsored by the Toto Winner Organization, and it was known as the Winner Cup, from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, it had no sponsor, and therefore the tournament was named Basketball League Cup.
Uri Kokia is an Israeli professional basketball coach and a former professional basketball player. He is the current head coach for Ironi Ramat Gan of the Liga Artzit. Kokia played as a center/power forward position and was a member of the Israel national basketball team. He was named the Israeli Basketball Super League Most Improved Player in 2009. In November 2017, Kokia publicly came out as gay.
Itay Segev is an Israeli professional basketball player for Ironi Ness Ziona of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He was named the Israeli League Most Improved Player in 2016.
Idan Zalmanson is an Israeli basketball player for Hapoel Tel Aviv of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He was named the Israeli Basketball Super League Most Improved Player in 2017.
Shawn Dawson is an American-Israeli professional basketball player for Hapoel Holon of the Israeli Basketball Premier League and the Basketball Champions League (BCL).
