From the start of the Israeli Premier League, in the 1953–54 season, through the 1988–89 season, the Top Scorer of the league was the player that had the most total points scored in the league, in a given season.

David Chalton Ancrum is an American former college and professional basketball player and coach. Ancrum played college basketball for Utica College. Subsequently, he had a professional basketball career, and he played in several leagues, most notably in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), the Greek Basket League, and the Israeli Premier League. In 1994, he was the Israeli Premier League's Top Scorer.

He was also a four-time Israeli Premier League Top Scorer, in the years 1982, 1984, 1985, and 1999. John Hugh Eubanks, known as J. J. Eubanks is an American former professional basketball player. A 6-foot-6 guard/forward, he played his first two years of college basketball at Sullivan College in the junior college circuit before transferring to Marshall and then to Tennessee State. After going undrafted in the 1991 NBA draft he started his professional career in the World Basketball League where he won the Rookie of the Year award. He had his first experience in Europe with Italian club Basket Rimini. On October 9, 1994, he scored 101 points during an Israeli league game between Maccabi Ramat Gan and Beitar Ramat Gan, setting a single-game scoring record for the league and becoming one of the players to score 100 or more points in a game. He was the top scorer in the 1994–95 Israel Basketball Premier League. In his career he played in Italy, Canada, Greece, Israel, Japan, Venezuela, Argentina and Cyprus, establishing himself as a prolific scorer: he won three scoring titles and set single-game scoring records in Israel and Cyprus.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Yam Madar</span> Israeli basketball player

Yam Madar is an Israeli professional basketball player who last played for Fenerbahçe Beko of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). He also represents the Israel senior national team internationally.

Brad Leaf is an American-Israeli basketball coach and former player. He played 17 years of professional basketball in Israel, first for Hapoel Galil Elyon and later for Maccabi Tel Aviv of the Israel Premier League and Euroleague. He won the Israeli Basketball Premier League MVP award in 1989-90. He played college basketball for the Evansville Purple Aces from 1979 to 1982, and was the school's first All-American in NCAA Division I.

Lucius Cecil Davis is an American former professional basketball player who played the forward position. He played for the Isuzu GigaCats in Japan, and for Maccabi Rishon LeZion in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He was the top scorer in the 2004 Israel Basketball Premier League.
