High school
He moved to the United States from Mali in 1998, and studied at Montgomery Catholic High School in Montgomery, Alabama, U.S., where he and his teammates won the 2A State Championship. In his first appearance as a Catholic Knight, he broke the Alabama High School Athletic Association's record for blocked shots in the first half against Horseshoe Bend. In his sophomore season in high school he posted averages of 20 points, 15 rebounds and 9 blocks per game. He later attended St. Jude Catholic High School in Montgomery, where he transferred to in 1999, and he sat out the 1999–2000 basketball season. In his last year of high school basketball he averaged 29 points, 16 rebounds and 12 blocks, and was widely regarded as one of the best prospects of his class. [1] He drew interest from many high-profile college programs such as Arkansas, Duke, Kentucky, Michigan and North Carolina, [2] but after graduating he signed up to the 2001 NBA draft and was selected as a 47th pick overall by the Denver Nuggets (he was however the 46th player to be selected, as the Minnesota Timberwolves forfeited their 29th overall pick). NBA career
After he was signed by the Denver Nuggets, he had an injured knee and therefore did not pass the physical tests, and the Nuggets released him. [5] He then moved to Russia in 2002 before playing for the Harlem Globetrotters. After a year he returned to play in the NBA signing with the Orlando Magic. Ousmane was released just after one preseason game and moved to play in the USBL. In 2003, he signed with the Toronto Raptors and was released after a couple of days, without ever playing with the team.
Cisse ended up never appearing in an NBA game and is one of 8 players drafted in 2001 to never play a game in the league.
He moved to play in the NBDL after his release during 2003 and stayed to play there until the 2004–05 season was over, playing for the Fayetteville Patriots.

In 2022, Lee Nailon became the head basketball coach for Carbondale Community High School in Carbondale, Illinois.
Willie Lloyd Anderson Jr. is an American former professional basketball player. During his professional career, Anderson played nine seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and three seasons in the EuroLeague. He was named to the 1988–89 NBA season's All-Rookie First Team. While he was a member of the Greek Basket League club AEK Athens, he played in the 1998 EuroLeague Final. Anderson won an Olympic bronze medal as a member of the United States national team in 1988.
Shelden DeMar Williams is an American former professional basketball player. Nicknamed "The Landlord", he played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils, and later played in the NBA for parts of seven seasons.

Bryan Patrick Bracey is an American-Irish former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, Malcolm X College, and the University of Oregon. In 2001, he finished second in the Pac-10 in points per game and was selected to the All-Pac-10 first team. He was drafted in the second round of the 2001 NBA draft by the San Antonio Spurs.
Taurean James Green is a Georgian-American professional basketball player who last played for Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). He is the son of former NBA journeyman Sidney Green. Green played college basketball for the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Florida Gators teams that won back-to-back NCAA national championships in 2006 and 2007. He also played internationally for Georgia after gaining citizenship in June 2010.
Brian Butch is an American former professional basketball player. He is currently working mornings on 97.3 the Game with Steve Czaban in Milwaukee and as a radio color commentator for the Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball and analyst for the Big Ten Network. He was a center on the 2003 McDonald's All-American basketball team and later attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison on a basketball scholarship. He was briefly a member of the Denver Nuggets of the NBA, although he never played any games for them.
Deron Washington is an American basketball player who last played for Mitteldeutscher of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). He played in college for the Virginia Tech Hokies men's basketball team. He was selected with the 59th overall selection in the 2008 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons.

He played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers, as well as in Israel for Bnei HaSharon during the 2011 NBA lockout.

Jeff Adrien is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the UConn Huskies. Adrien played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Charlotte Bobcats, Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves. He also had stints in the NBA Development League and overseas in Spain, Italy, Russia, China, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Argentina.
Sam Clancy Jr. is an American former professional basketball player who is an assistant coach for the Cleveland Charge of the NBA G League. He was signed with the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers and Philadelphia 76ers; however, he never played a game for either team. He was injured as a member of the 76ers, and was waived by the Blazers. He is 6 ft 7 in tall and he weighs 118 kg and used to play at the position of forward-center.

Bol Manute Bol is a South Sudanese–American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks. A son of basketball player Manute Bol, who was known for being one of the tallest players in NBA history, Bol was born in Khartoum, Sudan, but lived in the Kansas City metropolitan area from a young age. In high school, Bol was considered one of the best players in the class of 2018, having been rated a consensus five-star recruit and earning McDonald's All-American honors. A center listed at 7 feet 3 inches (2.21 m), he is one of the tallest players in the NBA.

He played in three different high schools in Alabama, spending his senior year at Central Park Christian Academy, where he was one of the top players in the nation in the class of 2001. He went undrafted in the 2006 NBA draft and started his professional career in Europe with Turkish team Darüşşafaka. He has played several years in Israel, where he earned three All-Star selections.
