Albert Kedrick Brown (born March 18, 1981) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. Born and raised in Zachary, Louisiana, Brown played college basketball at Okaloosa-Walton Community College (now Northwest Florida State College), where he was a first team NJCAA All-America selection as a sophomore.
Brown was drafted with the 11th overall pick in the 2001 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. He was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in December 2003 and was later dealt to the Philadelphia 76ers in July 2004.
Brown was drafted 11th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2001 NBA draft. [1] On October 30, 2001, he made his NBA debut, playing five minutes in a 108–89 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. [2] On January 21, 2002, Brown scored a season-high 12 points, along with two rebounds and four steals, in a 106–97 win over the Toronto Raptors. [3]
On January 18, 2003, Brown logged season-highs of 14 points and ten rebounds in a 97–95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. [4]
On November 7, 2003, Brown scored a career-high 18 points, along with six rebounds and two steals, in a 87–94 loss to the New Jersey Nets. [5] On December 13, he played his final game for the Celtics, logging two points and an assist during a 105–98 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team he would be traded to. [6]
On December 15, 2003, Brown was traded, along with Eric Williams and Tony Battie, to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Ricky Davis, Chris Mihm, and Michael Stewart. [7]
On July 20, 2004, Brown was traded, along with Kevin Ollie, to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Eric Snow. [8] Brown's final NBA game was played on February 4, 2005, in a 103–85 win over the Atlanta Hawks where Kedrick played for 2 and half minutes and scored 1 point.
Brown was selected ninth overall by the Anaheim Arsenal in the 2007 NBA D-League draft. [9]
Brown was selected 12th overall by the Maine Red Claws in the 2009 NBA D-League expansion draft. [10] However, he never played a game for the team.
In 2009, Brown joined Bornova for the team's first season in the Turkish Basketball First League (TBL). [11]
For the final season of his professional basketball career, Brown joined Antalya. [12]
Brown joined the player personnel of the Southern Jaguars men's basketball team in 2017. [13]

Delonte Maurice West is an American former professional basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Boston Celtics, Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Dallas Mavericks. Known for his defense, Snow was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2003. Following his playing career, Snow served as an assistant coach at Florida Atlantic for two years (2014-2016) after having worked two seasons at SMU (2012–14) as the director of player development under Larry Brown, his former coach.

In the 1996 NBA draft, the Cavaliers selected Ukrainian center Vitaly Potapenko out of Wright State University with the 12th overall pick, and Lithuanian center Zydrunas Ilgauskas with the 20th overall pick. However, Ilgauskas would miss the entire season with a broken bone in his right foot. During the off-season, the team signed free agent Mark West. The Cavaliers started their season winning nine of their first twelve games, but after a 21–10 start, they lost six straight games in January while losing 11 of their next 14 games. The team played above .500 for the entire season, holding a 25–22 record at the All-Star break, but started to struggle down the stretch, losing 10 of their 16 games in March. On the final day of the regular season on April 20, 1997, the Cavaliers faced the Washington Bullets at the Gund Arena, as both teams were fighting for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Bullets won 85–81 as the Cavs missed the playoffs, finishing 5th in the Central Division with a 42–40 record. The Cavaliers had the fifth best team defensive rating in the NBA.
The 1989–90 NBA season was the 20th season of the National Basketball Association in Cleveland, Ohio. During the off-season, the Cavaliers acquired second-year guard Steve Kerr from the Phoenix Suns. The Cavaliers got off to a slow start losing their first four games, on their way to a mediocre 10–16 start. Early into the season, the team traded Ron Harper to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for top draft pick Danny Ferry and Reggie Williams; Ferry was selected by the Clippers as the second overall pick in the 1989 NBA draft, but refused to play for them as he went to play overseas in Italy. At midseason, the team traded Chris Dudley to the New Jersey Nets, and released Williams to free agency. The Cavaliers struggled playing below .500 for the first half of the season, holding a 21–25 record at the All-Star break, but finished it on a strong note winning their final six games. The team finished the season with a 42–40 record, finishing 4th in the Central Division, as they advanced to the playoffs.

During the off-season, the team re-acquired forward Sixers forward Derrick Coleman from the Charlotte Hornets in a three-team trade, acquired Matt Harpring from the Cleveland Cavaliers, acquired Vonteego Cummings from the Golden State Warriors, and signed free agent Derrick McKey midway through the season.
Larry Donnell Nance Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Wyoming Cowboys, where he was considered one of the best big men in the Mountain West Conference after leading the 2014–15 team to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2002. Nance was drafted 27th overall in the 2015 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. He became part of the team's roster rebuild focusing around younger players. During the 2017–18 season, Nance was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, with whom he reached the 2018 NBA Finals. During the 2021 offseason, he was dealt to the Portland Trail Blazers, who traded him to the New Orleans Pelicans midway through the 2021–22 season.

Terry William Rozier III, nicknamed "Scary Terry", is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Louisville Cardinals before being selected with the 16th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. Rozier spent his first four seasons as a reserve with the Celtics until being traded to the Charlotte Hornets in a sign-and-trade deal. Rozier was a starter for the Hornets for four-and-a-half seasons until being traded to the Heat.
The Cleveland Cavaliers first began play in the NBA in 1970 as an expansion team under the ownership of Nick Mileti. Jerry Tomko, the father of future Major League Baseball pitcher Brett Tomko, submitted the winning entry to name the team the "Cavaliers" through a competition sponsored by The Plain Dealer; supporters preferred it to "Jays", "Foresters" and "Presidents".
