It's Remble is the debut mixtape by American rapper Remble. It was released on July 16, 2021, through the recently signed Warner Records. The mixtape features multiple guest appearances including from Mozzy and Drakeo the Ruler. [1] The mixtape peaked at number 2 on the Heatseekers charts. [2]

Release and promotion

It's Remble was released on July 16, 2021, through Warner Records, which Remble had recently signed with. Out of the thirteen songs in the mixtape, six were new releases, [3] while the rest of the songs were previously released at random from as early as January 2020. [4] He took inspiration from Dom Kennedy and Busta Rhymes for his earlier releases such as "Gordon R Freestyle," [5] which, along with "Touchable," both received major performance on TikTok. [6]

Reception

Some of the tracks in It's Remble received attention from critics due to Remble's "lecture"-like rapping. [7] One of the most popular tracks from the mixtape is "Touchable," of which both The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times highlighted the lyrics “Came a long way from pre-K and eating Lunchables/I just took your life and as you know it’s unrefundable.” [7] [5]

Meet the Woo 2 is the second mixtape by American rapper Pop Smoke. Released by Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records on February 7, 2020, it is the second installment in the Meet the Woo mixtape series, following Meet the Woo (2019). The deluxe edition of the mixtape, released on February 12, 2020, features three new tracks, including a remix of "Dior" featuring American rapper Gunna. On February 19, 2020, less than two weeks after the release of the standard edition of Meet the Woo 2, Pop Smoke was shot and killed at age 20 during a home invasion. "Talk to Me" is a song by American rapper Drakeo the Ruler featuring Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on February 23, 2021, as the lead single from the former's ninth mixtape The Truth Hurts (2021). The song was produced by EY and Elias Knight.

Matthew Dean Burdette, known professionally as Blxst, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from Los Angeles, California. His record label Evgle partnered with Red Bull Records for the release of his debut EP No Love Lost on September 4, 2020, spawning the hit single "Chosen". He released his debut album Before You Go on April 22, 2022.

Eunique Cooper Remble, known professionally as Remble, is an American rapper. Noted for his sharp humor and precise flow, he was described in the Los Angeles Times as "laceratingly funny" with a "distinctive and technically impressive vocal style." His debut mixtape, It's Remble, was released in July 2021.
