Ivan Makarov (born 1930) is a Soviet rower. He competed in the men's coxless four event at the 1952 Summer Olympics. [1]

Sergei Mikhailovich Makarov is a Russian former professional ice hockey right wing. In the Soviet Union, Makarov played 11 championship seasons with CSKA Moscow, winning the Soviet Player of the Year award three times. Together with Igor Larionov and Vladimir Krutov, they formed the KLM Line, one of the most talented and feared lines ever to play hockey. He later played in the National Hockey League with the Calgary Flames, and won the Calder Memorial Trophy as rookie of the year at the age of 31.

Viktor Mykhailovych Makarov is a Ukrainian sport shooter. He won a silver medal in free pistol shooting at the 1994 ISSF World Championships in Milan, Italy, and was selected to compete for Ukraine in two editions of the Olympic Games. Having pursued the sport since the age of fourteen, Makarov trained as a member of the shooting team for Dynamo Odesa, under his personal coach Dmytro Lukyanov. Born in his native Kazakhstan, Makarov also holds a dual citizenship to compete internationally for Ukraine in shooting.

Andrey Makarov is a Kazakhstani male weightlifter, competing in the 94 kg category and representing Kazakhstan at international competitions. He participated at the 1996 Summer Olympics in the 91 kg event and at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the 94 kg event. He competed at world championships, most recently at the 2003 World Weightlifting Championships.
