Jacek Roszko and Kamil Kryński are the premier sprinters running for KS Podlasie Białystok (KS stands for "Klub Sportowy" or "Sports' Club"), and are a part of the new wave of the Polish sprinters who are chasing the dream of improving Marian Woronin's Polish national record over 100m of 10.00 s (9.998s) as well as the first European class sprinters from Podlasie.

Justin Gatlin is an American sprinter who competes in the 60 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres. Gatlin is a 5-time Olympic medalist and a 12-time World Championship medalist. He is the 2004 Olympic Champion in the 100 metres, the 2005 and 2017 World Champion in the 100 metres, the 2005 World Champion in the 200 metres, and the 2019 World Champion in the 4 x 100 metres relay. Gatlin is also a two-time 60 metres World Indoor Champion in 2003 and 2012. At the World Athletics Relays, Gatlin won two gold medals in the 4 x 100 metres relay in 2015 and 2017. Allyson Michelle Felix is an American track and field sprinter. From 2003 to 2013, Felix specialized in the 200 meters sprint and gradually shifted to the 400 meters sprint later in her career. Her racing repertoire also spans the 100 meters, 4 x 100 meters relay, and 4 x 400 meters relay. At 200 meters, she is the 2012 Olympic champion, a three-time world champion (2005–2009), two-time Olympic silver medalist, and the 2011 world bronze medalist. At 400 meters, she is the 2015 world champion, 2011 world silver medalist, 2016 Olympic silver medalist, 2017 world bronze medalist, and 2020 Olympic bronze medalist.
Tyson Gay is an American track and field sprinter who competes in the 100 and 200 meters. His 100 m personal best of 9.69 seconds is the American record and makes him tied for the second fastest athlete ever, along with Yohan Blake.
Joshua ("Josh") James Ross is an indigenous Australian track and field sprinter. He was national 100-metre (100m) champion for several years and competed for Australia at the 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Ross is the fourth fastest Australian of all time with a personal best time of 10.08 seconds achieved on 10 March 2008, after Patrick Johnson, Rohan Browning and Matt Shirvington.
Dariusz Kuć is a Polish sprint athlete. His personal best time over 100 metres is 10.15 seconds, achieved in June 2011 in Kraków.
Marian Jerzy Woronin is a retired Polish athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres. He is a four-time European Indoor Champion in the 60 metres. He won nine Polish outdoor titles, and nine indoor titles.
Dr Craig Keith Pickering is an English retired sprinter and bobsleigher. As a sprinter, he was based at the Marshall Milton Keynes Athletics Club; however, he also ran for the University of Bath and Newham and Essex Beagles. Following his retirement from professional sport Pickering became an academic researcher and gained a professional doctorate in sports performance from the University of Central Lancashire.
Carmelita Jeter is a retired American sprinter, who specialized in the 100 meters. She was the 2011 IAAF World Champion in the 100 m and a three-time Olympic medallist.

His times of 9.75 in 100m and 19.44 in 200m are the fastest 100m and 200m Olympic sprints in history to not win gold.
Richard "Torpedo" Thompson is a sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago who specializes in the 100 metres. His personal best of 9.82 seconds, set in June 2014, was one of the top ten fastest of all time, and a national record. In the 200 meters he has the fourth fastest time by a Trinidad and Tobago athlete.

Olivia "Livvy" Breen is a Welsh Paralympian athlete, who competes mainly in T38 sprint and F38 long jump events. In 2012, she qualified for the 2012 Summer Paralympics, selected for the T38 100m and 200m sprint and is also part of the T35-38 women's relay team. She has also represented Wales at both the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games, winning gold in the long jump at the Gold Coast games in 2018.
Gonezie Marie Josée Dominique Ta Lou is an Ivorian athlete who specialises in sprinting events. She finished fourth in the 100 metres and 200 metres finals at the 2016 Olympic Games, missing out on a medal in the 100m by seven-thousandths of a second (0.007). She then won silver medals in the 100 metres and 200 metres at the 2017 World Championships, the latter in the national record time of 22.08 secs. Her 100 metres best is 10.78 secs (2021).
Ewa Nikola Swoboda is a Polish track and field sprinter who competes in the short sprints. She holds the world junior record of 7.07 seconds in the 60 metres. She was a 100 metres finalist at the World Youth Championships in Athletics, World Junior Championships in Athletics and Summer Youth Olympics. She was a 60 m finalist in her senior debut at the 2015 European Athletics Indoor Championships.
Elaine Thompson-Herah is a Jamaican sprinter who competes in the 100 metres and 200 metres. A five-time Olympic champion, she is the fastest woman alive, and the second-fastest in history, over both distances.
