Jack Meredith (born 14 August 1992) is a British hurdler. He won gold at the 2011 European Athletics Junior Championships in Tallinn, Estonia. [1]
The 2003 European Athletics Junior Championships was held in Tampere, Finland from 23 to 27 July 2003. A total of 44 events were contested; 22 by men and 22 by women. Germany had the biggest medal haul with nine golds and a total of 26, closely followed by Russia. Great Britain was third with 17 medals, while Romania was fourth with ten medals. Four championship records were set at the competition, although three were as a result of using lighter implements in the men's throwing events.
The 2001 European Athletics Junior Championships was an athletics competition for athletes under-20 which was held at the Stadio Olimpico Carlo Zecchini in Grosseto, Italy from 19 – 22 July 2001. A total of 44 events were contested, 22 by male and 22 by female athletes. Two new events were introduced into the programme: the women's 2000 metres steeplechase and the women's 10,000 m track walk. Five new championships records were recorded over the four-day competition, in addition to the two marks set in the newly introduced events.
Gerd Kanter is a retired Estonian discus thrower. He was the 2007 World Champion in the event and won the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and bronze in London 2012. His personal best throw of 73.38 m is the Estonian record and the fourth best mark of all time.

Kadriorg Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Tallinn, Estonia. Opened in 1926, it is one of the oldest stadiums in Estonia. It is currently used mostly for track and field competitions, but also serves as a home ground for JK Tallinna Kalev. The stadium holds 5,000. Kadriorg Stadium is located about 2 km east of the city centre in the subdistrict of Kadriorg near Kadriorg Palace. The address of the stadium is Roheline aas 24, 10150 Tallinn.

Viktoriya Fyodorova is a retired female high jumper from Russia. She represented Russia at the 1995 World Championships in Athletics, placing eleventh. She also competed at the 1997 IAAF World Indoor Championships (seventh) and the 1998 European Athletics Championships (tenth).

Andrew William Pozzi is a British hurdling athlete. He was the 2018 indoor World Champion at 60 metres hurdles. He was the 2012 UK 60m and 110m Champion and holds the record for the fastest ever time run by a UK junior hurdler. The record time, 13.29 seconds, was set on 3 July 2011 in Mannheim, Germany at the Bauhaus Junior Gala.
Adam Ahmed Gemili is a British sprinter. He is the 2014 European champion at 200 metres, three-time European champion in the 4 x 100 metres relay, and part of the Great Britain team that won gold at the 2017 World Championships in the same event. He has finished fourth in the 200 m at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and fourth and fifth in separate editions of the World Championships in the same event.

Sergey Morgunov is a Russian track and field athlete, specializing in the long jump. On 20 June 2012 he set the World Junior Record in the event, jumping 8.35m in Cheboksary, Russia. The jump surpassed the longest standing record on the books, set by Randy Williams while winning the gold medal at the 1972 Olympics. Morgunov's jump, set while winning the Russian Junior Championships also tied him for the best jump of the year, by any athlete, to that point in the 2012 Olympic year. The mark also qualified as the European Junior Record, formerly held by Spain's Eusebio Caceres.
Nafissatou "Nafi" Thiam is a Belgian athlete specialising in multi-event competition. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, winning the heptathlon event at the 2016 Rio and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Thiam is the only Belgian athlete, male or female, to successfully defend an Olympic title and only the second woman after Jackie Joyner-Kersee to win back-to-back Olympic titles in the event.
Molly Caudery is a British athlete who competes in the pole vault event for England and Great Britain. Caudery is the 2024 World Indoor champion. She was also a silver medalist at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Dalia Kaddari is an Italian athlete sprinter who specialises in the 200 metres. She won a gold medal at the 2021 European U23 Championships. Kaddari is also a two time Italian champion in the event.
