Jagada Nand Singh (born 15 July 1945) is an Indian politician. He is son of Lt. Ramruchi Singh and has done LLB from Harish Chander College in Varanasi in the year 1973. [1] He was a member of the Indian Parliament and represented Buxar (Lok Sabha constituency) in the 15th Lok Sabha from RJD. [2] [ unreliable source ] He was also a 6 term MLA of RJD from Ramgarh Constituency before he became an MP from Buxar of RJD. He is State President of Rashtriya Janata Dal of Bihar. [3]
Singh has been associated with Lalu Prasad Yadav, since the foundation of Rashtriya Janata Dal. He is a socialist class of politician and has been a founder member of RJD, the Bihar based political party. Singh had remained minister in all of the Lalu Prasad's cabinets and had defeated Lal Muni Chaubey of Bharatiya Janata Party successfully from the Buxar constituency in 2009. However, in 2014 and 2019 Singh was defeated from the same constituency by the Bharatiya Janata Party candidates. Described as a loyal member of RJD and a close companion of Lalu Prasad like another leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, he was among those who supported candidacy of Rabri Devi for the post of Chief Minister, following the arrest of Lalu Prasad in connection with the Fodder Scam. Singh had even campaigned against his own son Sudhakar in 2010, ensuring his defeat against the Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate. In November 2019, taking everyone by surprise, RJD appointed Singh as its Bihar state president. [5]

Upendra Kumar Singh, commonly known as Upendra Kushwaha is an Indian politician, and a former Member of Bihar Legislative Council and Bihar Legislative Assembly. He has also served as Minister of State for Human Resources and Development in the Government of India. Kushwaha is a former Member of Parliament (MP) from the Karakat constituency in Rohtas district, Bihar, and a former member of the Rajya Sabha. He was the leader of Rashtriya Samata Party (RSP), his own party, which merged into Janata Dal (United) (JDU) in 2009. Later, he formed Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP), which also merged with JD(U) in 2021. On 20 February 2023, Kushwaha resigned from all positions in Janata Dal (United) and formed his own party called Rashtriya Lok Morcha due to his political problems with JD(U) and Nitish Kumar. Kushwaha contested the Lok Sabha election of 2024 from Karakat constituency and finished at a distant third position. However, he was elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha in August 2024.
The Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD) was an unrecognised registered political party in India. It was nationally launched by Sharad Yadav and Ali Anwar in May 2018. The party was formed after Yadav parted ways from Janata Dal (United), due to its alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party in Bihar. Sharad Yadav merged with Rashtriya Janata Dal but not the Lokatantrik Janata Dal party
Rama Kishore Singh is an Indian politician and is a former member of the Indian Parliament from Vaishali, Bihar. He won the 2014 Indian general election as a Lok Jan Shakti Party candidate. He defeated vice-president of RJD Raghuvansh Prasad Singh by around 1 lakh votes. He enjoys considerable support from the Rajput caste despite having criminal antecedent. He quit all party posts he held on 15 September 2015.
Ritlal Yadav or Ritlal Ray is a leader of RJD who won the Bihar Legislative Council election in July 2015 as an independent candidate. Ritlal was in jail in connection with multiple criminal cases, including murder charges. Ritlal is accused in over 33 cases. He was a former Member of Legislative Council (MLC), the post, to which he was elected in 2016. He was incarcerated in Beur Jail until August 2020. However he was then released from the jail on bail. Ritlal Yadav defeated BJP's Asha Devi Sinha in the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections.

Abhay Kushwaha alias is an Indian politician from the Rashtriya Janata Dal, and a Member of Parliament representing Aurangabad in Bihar, India and former Member of Legislative Assembly for Tikari in the Gaya district of Bihar. An erstwhile member of Janata Dal (United); he won the 2015 Legislative Assembly election to the Tekari constituency by defeating Anil Kumar of Hindustani Awam Morcha, a political party led by former Bihar Chief Minister, Jitan Ram Manjhi. He defeated Anil Kumar by a huge margin of votes. While Abhay secured 86,975 votes, Anil managed to get 55,162 votes only. In 2024 Indian general election, he won the Aurangabad, Bihar Lok Sabha constituency by defeating BJP's four term member of parliament, Sushil Kumar Singh. He contested on the symbol of Rashtriya Janata Dal in this election.
