Jakob "Jake" Majors is an American football center for the Texas Longhorns.

Early life and high school

Coming out of high school Majors was rated as a four star recruit, the 10th best interior offensive lineman, 38th prospect in Texas, and the 259th overall prospect in the class of 2020. [1] Ultimately, Majors decided to commit to play college football for the Texas Longhorns. [2] [3]

College career

In Majors True freshman season in 2020 he played in three games, while also making two starts for Texas. [4] Over the 2021 and 2022 seasons, Majors played in and started all 25 games for the Longhorns. [5] [6] [7] During the 2023 season, Majors played in and started all 14 games for the Longhorns. [8] [9] For his performance in the 2023 season, Majors was named a Big-12 honorable mention selection, while he was also apart of a Texas offensive line which was a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award. [10]
